  1. Here's a couple of pics (a little blurry) sent through to me today.
  2. I was running 16 x 8 sportsmax with 245 tyres on the rear, these wheels are a 0 offset and on the 2+2 don't quite fill out the ZG flares although I thought they looked OK.
  3. Thanks to all you guys for welcoming my new Zed last night. It's always a bit nerve racking when you are putting your own work 'out there' as I know it's probably not as good as you can get from the 'pro's' but the beauty of it is neither do you have such a hole in your bank balance! Great to meet some new faces and always great to catch up with 'mates' who are more than just forum members. Thanks Craig again for your organising of this event however I now have more grey hair trying to get the Zed finished for this get together Rev.
  4. Great idea Simon, so Glad that I committed to this early on. Rev.
  5. Craig...it looks like I will make it by the skin of my teeth however there are still a few things to finish so it will be a look at a 95% finished project Zed, hope that is OK with everyone. Rev.
  6. Thanks for everyone's feedback, I'm trying to get the last few little bits finished off for RWC and hopefully get it to the Jag club! Rev.
  7. Thanks bro, sorry to have missed you yesterday! Only one stripe on so far as I ran out of time...Tomorrow maybe?
  8. Trying to get it to the Jag club on time! back on the trailer for some final fixin!....Hopefully. Rev.
  9. Big $ no doubt...but with that comes quality, warranty, no headaches, less stress and quick turn around - think I should have done this! Rev.
  10. Plumb your compressor so that you have outlets front and both sides and one hanging from the roof if possible, this saves all that dragging of hoses around the workshop that rubs on cars etc. Rev.
  11. SORRY guys but REVZED will not be making the debut!! I've worked hard to get it there and almost had a stress meltdown in the process, so I'm going to say that without a miracle (and take it from me they do happen!) it's not going to be able to get the RWC which means no reg = No drive. Looks like Lurchos will have to take centre stage! Rev.
  12. Yep, but i'm told it needs to be rebuilt!
  13. Happy birthday Gav, have a few wee beers and enjoy yourself! Rev.
  14. A few hitches on my way to get RWC yesterday and ...no wipers! Thanks to Mayhem we got that sorted and too late to get RWC! Booked to go to Vic Roads on Tuesday but doubt if I'll make it now! The other thing is that the Carbs whilst fine at stationary rev, die under load, lots of coughing and backfiring...so I'll try to be there thursday night otherwise it may be there on a trailer! :'( Anyhow today I wet sanded and gave it the first cut, it cam up pretty good, next is a machine polish with a black foam and then ...maybe a hand polish, if I get time. It's nice to finally see a good reflection in the paintwork. Rev.
  15. Good Job Pete, have you put the clear over that yet? from the pics I'd say no, just remember to get the clear over that ASAP so that you don't get any marks on the paintwork. Rev.
  16. I can't see it, am I looking in the right place? the homepage doesn't seem to show anything different. Rev
  17. Hey steve, I feel your pain bro! it is placement and force in equal amounts, a hairdryer for softening helps a little too. I'll be around tomoz after lunch if you need a hand. Rev.
  18. We used to talk about cars, have the odd angry shot at one another and I had no problem letting my 12 Y.O on to read the forums and look at the cars. I'm not a wowser guys but hey do we really need all of the adult jokes to be a part of what is an excellent forum? Rev.
  19. Thanks guys, I'll give Dimitri a call. Rev.
  20. Hi Guys, Found that the engine fan will not cut out, sounds like a jet engine taking off! I will eventually get a thermo fan to replace but just need something to get me by. Thanks, Rev.
  21. Steve, come around after lunch and have a look at mine if it helps. I have a few other things for you as well. Rev.
  22. My philosophy: If you tell a joke and absolutely no one's offended, you're telling it wrong. Rev.
  23. Loui, You sound like that sock puppet from the phone ad on TV "I'm sure you will find what you seek!" Welcome Bryan, you should have fun here! Rev.
