    You'll probably have to charge more than that Gordon. Whatever the format & cost, I'm interested in a copy.

    Gordon, I suggest you look into publishing it as an internet 'E-Book'. You could still charge an amount for it, but you would not have the same costings associated with publishing a print version. Another suggestion would be to publish an e-book in large chapters - lesser cost for the purchaser up front, you can write sections / chapters & release them at your own pace.

    Media blasting should cost between $1500 to $2000 (incl. panels). Get it primed in PPG Epoxy Urethane - regular primer isn't durable long term especially if you intend to drive it. http://platinumpaints.com.au/car-paint/paints/2k-system/ppg-blue-black-d-g-3-5lt-detail

    Ahhh you used the 'small port' manifold - I remember having relieve that post to clear the thermostat on a customers Z. The Harada 'Big Port' doesn't have that problem. The top linkage arms are fine in use on the carb drop links, but you have to replace the one of the firewall with an EFi Hardware item, because - as you say - the supplied one doesn't have enough purchase on the rod, causing it to slip.

    Since you've come this far Andrew, I suggest you strip it to a bare shell, mount it on a rotisserie & have it media blasted. That way you'll find EVERYTHING that needs repairing.

    Utter bollocks. It's got more to do with the contraction of the pressure plate & friction plate Vs how much it wears. Also yours is used mostly in competition, correct Richard? Bit of a different kettle of fish... For the 'L33' I just sold, it had Jim Berry build a 240mm 2600lbs pressure plate with a organic race '6 spring' friction plate. Les has used these before & apparently they are only marginally heavier than a HD unit. For the new build, Jim has somehow managed to acquire a magnesium Ferrari pressure plate...

    If you go to Bursons, you can get a new one from Kilkenny Mill - they aren't pretty, but are cheap & will do the job.
