  3. Hi Craig, Yep back. I've spent the last two days pulling down my bath room and kitchen which is almost completely gone. I'm currently living with none of these rooms and plan to install a temp dunny, shower etc in the current dining room. As you can imagine I have'nt had much opportunity to organise anything outside of trying to get through each day as it comes. I should have more time as of Wed next week when I hand over the cleared bacyard to the builder that start some pretty major excavations. to dig in downstairs. Anyhow thats where I'm at just in case anyone was thinking Sulio's been quiet latley. My work factory is free so we can definately organise something ie BBQ. Lets aim for a date, maybe a Wed two weeks from this week. How does that sound? Cheers, Sulio
  4. Sounds like a great trip Craig. Count me in. Sulio
  5. I'm in. Hard to find green grass these days!? Hey I also bought a new digital SLR on my recent trip so this is great timing. Sulio
  6. I'd be up for that. Treat it as a pre lim to official points events next year!? Sulio
  7. That looks fantastic! Well done. Sulio
  8. Definatley sounds like fun. I'd be interested. Perhaps people can make a few suggestions whilst we wait for the calendar dates to come out!? A 1/4 mile day would be interesting. See how the different cars compare!? Sulio
  9. Ah goodo, Looking forwad to seeing some of these cars that have ordered these wheels. Should be some nice pics coming up over the next few weeks. Cheers, Sulio
  10. Yer good to read about the noticable differences from Scoota. Warren, I remember reading in that Des Hammil book that when the old Ford GT40 engineers played with the location of the cover over the trumpets for one of the Lemans races. They managed to get different horse power figures from the engine when they varied the distance at which the cover was placed directly above the horns/trumpets. Maybe not so relevemt to the old L series but interesting to note either way. Sulio
  11. Yer hard to find. I also need the drivers side! Sulio
  12. Welcome Ian! Sulio
  13. Someone might fill your airbox with engine oil one day! SUlio
  14. Nice turn out. Good pics. How did the communication go as far as radios? Sulio
  15. Might be a fair bit of tyre stretch on the wall, I'd be interested to know if that size tyre fits? I've got a 17x8.5 front and I've put a 225x45 tyre on which was a little stretched but still worked nicely, they had to go through a few different brands in the same size before they found one that fit on the rim. Sulio
  16. Ash, good to hear people are getting these ZG config wheels in Australia, especially having a local supplier supporting the Z seen in with these sort of products. These are going on the street car you have ready? Any pics mate? Sulio
  17. I had a couple of loose nuts on a front wheel, luckily noticed a slight vibration so pulled over and nipped them up. Lucky felt it early on in the piece as it was a trip to Apollo Bay. I had the car up on jack stands putting new front calipers on. definaltely tightened the nuts but obviously no enough. It's got me into the habit of nipping them up every so often. Sulio
  18. Hi Mouse, I've got 255's on the rear with ZG flares. No copper has pulled me over to date. Most people that run ZG's with 16" Watanabes tend to run 225 fronts with 245 rears. There is a member here with a RB25DET motor, Ben, username Mayhem, tht has been pulled over by the police a few times o check out his car. From memory he never mentioned anything about wheels and tyres being an issue as they were picking on other areas of the car, silly stuff like non standard steering wheel. Anyhow he runs 245's at the rear frm memory with ZG's, very nice car. Look in the galleries. Mouse do you own the blue 2 seater on Browning? I'm in Kensington, your welcom to check out my set up if your curious about how wide to go!? Sulio 0413 188 024 Currently on holidays back in the country on the 26th of Oct.
  19. What a great product. So what sort of 1/4 mile times are you getting Hunter? Suliio
  20. Yer, Rev's sorted a cruise day for the 25 Oct so that should be great. Still unsure of this Buller trip as I'm in Bali an not back for a week. Good to see the Melbourne guys organising some add hoc drive's that's what these forums are about, keep it relaxed and "unnoficial" ! Sulio
  21. I'm im in Bali atm and will not be back in time. Will be looking forward to the pics! Sounds like it will be good fun, enjoy. Sulio
  22. ah something about seeing a bunch of Z's out on a drive that makes you want to jump in and go for a squirt. Cool pics. Thanks, Sulio
  23. Nah, most likely will be delayed so we have the mountain to ourselves like last year. Most likely be a December event but I've just got way too much on to set any dates atm. See how it goes over the next few weeks. Sulio
  24. Well my final set up. Sulio Final Settings, 06/10/2008 L28 DHLA40L chokes 32mm 7848.3 main jets 130 air correctors 195 emmulsion tubes 7772.6 idels 49 air bleeds reduced to 0.9mm from 2.0mm* pump jets 38 Stock L28, N42/N42, elec dizzy, headers NOTES: 46 idle was too lean at 2500rpm. Gradually leaned out so was'nt far out. 49's provide a great progression. No hesitation any where does'nt matter how it's driven or what rev range with what should be the best possible economy as any lower on jetting mains or idle runs it too lean. No further tinkering required. Sulio 4306_.pdf
