Lurch, Nick just called. The brakes he has are S2 280ZX brakes so that works for me but he had a hunt around for the MC and just realised he sold it to a 1600 go some time back. Bummer, but I'm hoping to go to Centre Rd wreckers on the weekend so I'll have a hunt around. Sulio

Hi Nick, Further to our phone discussion, I beleive I need the series 2 calilpers and rotors as per pics below as I'm using the US Maxima flat bracket which places the caliper at different offest than the series 1. I believe the series S2 rotors have the 47mm hats. Thanks, Sulio

I have some memory of reading that ducting the front spoiler holes to your front brakes to cool them is easier to do with vented rotors than solids. I think the thread said something about cold spots on the solids vs the vented ones which tend to spread the cool air out through the vents of the disc??? Does anybody have any advice on this and how much can you expect it to help such a set up to cool the discs or reduce brake fade by? Sulio

hehe...yer, I'm all over the place! Anyhow I want to get these rear brakes installled when I find the calipers and hopefully some Tokico Illuminas for the 5 way adjustment. Thing is the dollars is cacked itself so I'll see how things go with the shocks. Adjustable Koni's are a tad rich for me atm. I just joined the Gippsalnd Car Club. The plan is to get the car ready for some Hill Climb events and ahev some fun. Sulio

If your concerned about fuel and it's a daily you might find you'll be running 16 or 17L per 100km with 3.1L on tripple 44's as I'm getting around 14L/100km on a L28 with 40's but not conerned as it's not a daily driver. Sulio

Hi Glenn, yes 36 today...but as I say to the Mrs, it's a MANS 36 which is equal to a WOMENS 26, hehe...she hates that. Funny you should mention the horns as I thoought these might go over the top of them but your right I don't think there is room from memory. Yer definatley would'nt want to get rid of the air horns as apparently they do impact on air velocity into the carb. Rob Creightons got a really nice FG box to fit over Webbers or Dells. It lookes factory with Z SPORT or NISSAN SPORT on the side of it and you can run a K&N filter out front with it. I've been trying to find out where I can source one for ages. I believe Gavin Strongman was selling them at one stage. I'll persist and post info when I eventually find/buy one. Sulio

yer thought they were Ram Flos, I had a pair on my SU's. Just was'nt sure where to buy em. Not sure wether to go for them (they look nice) or a cold air intake box with a K&N filter with all these guys talking of the improved performance they're getting with em. Sulio
