  1. Hi Dimitri, I do need a set of adjustable shocks to firm up the ride as it's running on KYB's and I can still bottom it out on corners re tyre rub. So the next item on my shopping list is Koni Yellows or some thing in that area. Then followed by engine rebuild but it would be fun to have a go after I put some shocks in. Sulio
  2. Oh I like the fact you did a search!
  3. Glen, Cool, oh and just to make it easy to find the server IP address? Sulio
  4. Well I fianlly installed the 83-89 (I think) S12+8 Hilux Calipers I had. Put in new Bendix pads also. Currently using 7/8 MC with drums oin the rear. I put off installing the 15/16 MC til I pick up some 280ZX calipers. Anyhow the braking was much improved. Took it out on a quiet road and did a quick succession of hard brakes from 100km to stop. Now from memeory the stock brakes with what I was advised were "performce" pads would get soft after about 4 to 5 quick stops like this. With the Hilux calipers I get about double that. Also the I don't need to press the pedal as hard when braking normally. It will be very interesting to see how the 15/16 MC and rear discs will behave once installed. Sulio
  5. Lurch I would have picked you as more of a JOY FM listener!? Sulio
  6. Hi Glen, Lakeside track is great fun. Maybe have another practice session some time tommorrow arvo!? My best time to date in the GTA Alpha is 109.5 sec so still abit off the mark of 106 some of you guys are getting but practice will get me there!! Sulio
  7. That was good fun. Time to start practising Lakeside track. Looking at the pre race chat forum on XGN the guys are getting 1.06 seconds in current practice laps. man that pretty quick. Best I could get to dat is 1:12. Car set up will obvioulsy help. Maybe we shoudl pick a nite during the week for a practice night with a few of us on the track. Glen, I might have missed it but just for reference what is the IP address for the Lakeside Track? Cheers, Sulio

    CRUZ?

Hi Mayhem, I've just installed Hilux front calipers and plan on putting th e 15/16 MC on the weekend so I can't make it to this one. I'm hoping to sort out an alternative option to the CH plates I'm running so I should be ready for a bit of a drive in a couple of weeks though. Hopefully Dimitri's car is up and running and we can hit the hills and get some lunch somewhere. Cheers, Sulio
  11. Hi Scott, I'm just down as SULIO. Make sure in your settings re connection you have it set to INTERNET and not LAN. Also make sure your Firewall allows the game to connect to the net. I'm not very computer savy but managed to sort it out with a bit of help. We'll call the game AUSZCAR and you might need to set rFactor to Hist GT series as Mick74 told me his did'nt like the ALL CARS ALL TRACKS SETTING when he tried to run a Historix game before. If you can't find the game I'll post the IP adress we will host from later tonight on this thread then all you need to do is hit click on the small blue button near the sever list refrsh button and add the IP adress to find the game. Should be set to go by 9:30pm. Cheers, Sulio
  12. Will try to on the next race. We've been playing Historix on the Baturst track. So much fun. Maybe on tommorrow night again about 9pmish. We'll call the game AUSZCAR so it's easy to find if anybody here is looking for it. Sulio
  13. Is it too late to get involved in the race, Ohio? on the 29th Aug? or do we wait til the next series? Sulio
  14. Well I've installed the Historix. Man this gaem is really addictive. I've got quite a few mates onto it. I'll have to try the link to the XGN track above. Sulio
  15. Hey Nick, You know it's actually the same game Hypersimulator run. SUlio
  16. Glenn, those cars look great. What game. I read on a forum somewhere that a 240z is being prepped for the HGT. Excellent I'll download all the HISTORIC GT parts tonight. It might be a good idea to put up links for all the individual parts needed from start to finish, ie the game itself and the particular mods so people like Scott can get up and running. Also Lurch mate, I'm only using a Logitech USB "Sony Style" game pad so no reason for you not to be in it, only $20.00 for the controller and I'm running the whole thing on my laptop, works great! Sulio
  17. Sorry I've been busy trying to sort out Mods for this game. Historic GT lloks cool. Downloaded five parts to it but got stuck with the GTL part of it. Hi Glenn, Definately inetersted. I've been playing on line with Mick74. It's a pretty cool sim. Yes the Historical racing looks very cool. I've downloaded the 5 parts needed and as you mentioned below they've got it configed so you need a game called GTL to run. Loks like you've provided another link or u below. Sweet, let me set have a close look and set up Hostoric GT on my PC first. Scott, Download the game first and install it. I'll send you what you need to get the try/buy part sorted and then you need to download the component mentioned above which is free. I'm still going slow trying to work out bit's and pieces but I'll check out the forum Glenn has mentioend and take it from there. Once we are all sorted we should lock in a time we can race on line. That would be 4 of us to start with!!!!! how cool! Sulio
  18. I drove mine crunching 2nd for a couple of years and then picked up a 5 speed 280zx box for $80.00 as i was'nt in a rush. Sulio
  19. Hi Guys, There's a couple of us that have downloaded this sim. It looks pretty good and is supported online in a pretty big way. I'm still trying to work out how to set up a AUSZCAR game that we can all log into? Any help apreciated!? http://www.rfactor.net/ http://racecast.rfactor.net/ Sulio
  20. I like it on it's own but I'd lke to see it on the car. It looks like it belongs on this car. Sulio
  21. I've installed rFactor. It's pretty good. I need to add some more parts to it to get the V* Supercars and loca l Aussie tracks but it looks pretty good. If anyone downloads the try/buy it's not too hard to turn it inot a full working version if you know what I mean. I'm still trying to work out how to start a live game and have it come up on the remote server!? I start a new game live but others do'nt seem to be able to see the game. I've been trying to sort it out with Mick74 with no luck!? Bluemoonstone, do you know how to set this all up? Maybe start a new game called AUSZCAR! SUlio
  22. So whats the story re the missing flare? Sulio
  23. Some nice cars there Chris. 5 Zeds is a pretty good effort. Putting the Victorians to shame seeing we only had 5 on our last cruise! Sulio
  24. ah thanks fo rthe correction Dimitri, thats what happens when you don't read through an entire thread. Anyhow I hope you find the problem soon as I want to install my new brakes and MC in the coming weeks and knowing my luck I'll have the same issue's no doubt! Sulio
  25. Not sure if this will help as I'm still to convert mine, with all the bits sitting in a box ready to go but I believe the 15/16 280ZX MC has a plastic valve in it that needs to be removed when used with rear discs. Refer to this write up Lurch did as that is were I got it from... http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,2304.0.html Sulio
