I've got about 5mm from tyre wall to stock spring perch from memory. Just go with the flares and get the wheels below, you can't go wrong, *this is a members car from Ireland): ...oh and don't forget to keep trolling through these forums to find the good deal you can get on the RB (-R) wheels currently being made in 17x9 front and 17x9.5 rear for stock spring perch set up to get the above look. These wheels are very similar to the ones above but only roughly $1000.00 to your door and you know they fit. There's alot on here re those wheels just search and you'll find it... Good Luck Sulio

Thanks for the offer Gav, but spare time is definatley something I don't have and running out of as the house ext starts. All I wanna do is use the limited time I do get on the occasioanl weekend to do more with the Z. We've put a new rep on at work recently so that should take some pressure off me doing two jobs as it's been for the last two months and give me some more Z time once again to do things like install this rear disc upgrade. I'm not a pruist when it comes to Z's and I reckon the RB motor sounds great but for me it would be much better to just go out and buy one done and just enjoy it. Cheers, Sulio

I get itchy feet when I'm stuck in bed for a few days. I did'nt think you would be changing rides any time soon, is'nt that 2 seater i put you onto going into storage for some time yet or you gonna ship it to WA? Anyhow even though it's a bit of work, it would b e very appealing starting off with a blank canvass again. Sulio

Nice pic Scoota! An original angle for a Z pic! Sulio

Yer I'll hold on to the old girl and finish the last bits I've been planning on doing. The extension to the house is covered as far as cash is concerned. But of coarse I can't dip into that for toys. Nah she's not fussed what I do, sell it or keep to her a cars a car, I'm pretty lucky on that front as I'm free to do as I please as long as it's not a motor bike or donor bike as she calls them after a nurse friend of ours told us about all the "great" young kidneys, livers etc they get from the young fellas that push a little too hard. Cheers, Sulio

Thats a crack up. Shame you can't get it off. Sulio

Wow...overwhelming response. Yer well it is'nt even so much that I need the cash to be honest it just comes back to the fact that i don't drive it enough. I had quite a few phone calls from fellas on the forums pointing out they are hoping to have their cars ready by Christmas and we can get out and about. I guess I'll put off this idea of selling the car and see how things work out over the next couple of months. I also should get my ass into gear and get to more organised Z events outside of the auszcar stuff as there is usally something going on re track events like NDSOC stuff. Oh well, guess I better hook into my rear disc upgrade this weekend and hold on to the old Z for some time more! Cheers, Sulio

I'll play lotto on Saturday night. Sulio

hehe - it's been hard thinking about whether or not to sell it. I'll see how it goes. I've got a few ideas but the reality is I just don'ty use it enough. I've started the demolision of the back of my house with builder due to start Nov 5. Should have a nice double garage by the end of it, so I'd like to have a bit of cash at the end of the build whether it be to finish off the house ot maybe even a new toy. Sulio

Well hi guys, The time has come to sell my car as I have other expenses that are currently a priority. Many of the blokes in Vic are familiar with the car. It is a 260 2 seater with 240 rear lights, (I preffered them and installed them with Lurch doing all welding, it was a neat job with pics on the forums. Everything I've done on the car has been noted here on the forums withs pics threads etc. The car has only been driven avery couple of months for events and is currently on CH plates. It has an L28 with tripple Dellorto's, extractors and elec dizzy. Suspension is low King Springs with KYB shocks. Wheels are ROH 17's in a ZG "offset". Half cage was only installed a few months ago and is a Brown Davis cage with all certs and reciepts for the track. Front brakes are upgraded to Hilux Calipers with slotted and cross drilled rotors. I have a new 15/16MC thats recoed and brakets for rear 280zx calpiers, (You'll find the calipers and discs easily for the rear upgrade if you want to install it). Interior is in great shape. There is more to mention however I'm bed ridden with the flu so I'll leave it at that. Price is $16,500.00 Just a heads up for anybody that might be interetsed I'll be listing it on various classifieds in a week from today. The cars a great driver just get and and enjoy. Yer I remember that fella. We have a few dates committed to cruises coming up ie Buller Sprint date which is an overnighter and in Feb hopefully the Thredbo Drive Craig might be organising and that will most likley be a 4 day cruise, Tassy style. I however will be very busy over the next few months so I've gotta take it week by week as far as availability. I'm having a 2 week break in Bali in a few weeks before I start my extension. On the last week of October I pull down the existing kitchen, bathroom and outdoor laundry at the rear of my house. The builder then starts on the 5th of Nov excavating the whole rear yard where they will build a double brick retaining wall which basically will also form part of the garage walls and support the new section upstairs, new Lounge with a deck, kitchen, bathroom. Once thats all done we will focus on the fornt rooms fitting out hte whole house with new plaster, and fit out. All this work will be done from End of Oct 08 finishing about March or April 09. I'm not sure how available I'll be during those months for the old Z cruises, just have to take it as it comes. Hopefully there will be no need to put the Z up for sale with any silly cost blow outs but then again I've been thinking it might be nice to start on a new Z project in my new garage once its finished. Cheers, Sulio

Yer I'd be happy to run the Sunday coming back Monday as just realised I've got a wedding on the Friday at a winery in Red Hill so Sat would be recovery for me. I think most people will take the Monday off and i should be able to organise that also. Sulio

Hi Guys, We're looking at who might be interested in an overnight cruise to Mt Buller during the period of the Sprint Event. Last year we drove up the moutain 1 week after the event and had the place to ourselves however this year we have been thinking about driving up during the event and staying for potentially one or two nights during the course of the event. At this point this thread is to assess interest. Accomodation might be the sticking point so it will need to be booked soon if we decide to stick to the weekend of 1 to 3 Nov. I'm not too sure of the event schedule but I believe a drive up Sat 1 Nov, stay for the night coming back Sunday would be easiest. Any body that wants to stay for the Monday could do so as many would have it off due to the 4 Tues being Cup Day. It might be possible to drive up Sat morning watch some cars going up and I believe there is a 1 hr break at lunch time during which the raod is open. We could drive up check in and settle in for the second half of the day. This is just an idea based on some quick discussion with a couple of members. The other option of course is to do it a week or two after the event should that be more popular. I'm still unsure of my commitments for that weekend but I felt I better post this as the date is nearing. Opinions, suggestions? Sulio
