Glen if you need any more carbs contact the Alfa guy on e-bay. From memory hois e-bay seller name is something like Alfa1750. He has been in the game for ages with excellent feedback from other Z sites. He lives in Itally and has a huge assotion of parts and Dells & Webbers, (mainly Dells though). He overhauls and sets each set that go out. Serial numbers are matched very closely so all three are made roughly same time. From memory his real name is Gabriele. His a good bloke to deal with re time, thourough packaging and price. I paid $560 for carbs (3 x DHLA40's) delieverd to my door. They work greatwith float levels macthed, all new kits throughout and all screw adjustments and butterflies etc in very nice condition. It appears he replaces any screw that looks bad. Anyhow after paying that price it does still end up to about $1300 once you get the other bits but at least they are in overhauled condition and ready to go for years to come. Good Luck! Sulio

From memory the RTA did a big survey some years ago..it cost a huge amount of money as it was very comprehensive. They interveiwed thousands of people in each state. The findings were that people living in NSW were very shifty and needed to have their cars looked over every year! Of coarse the same survey found most of the honest people had moved to Victoria hence the difference in the laws! Sulio

...bummer. I did go and check the car out on Tuesday. It was actually pretty nice. I took a heap of pics with my phone. I did'nt bother going today as I expected you had your sights on it Rev. Does'nt matter it could have only got me into trouvle at home. I was thinking of sneaking along and bidding up to 3K for it. The car looked like it had been sprayed about 2 or 3 years ago. Not the best job but not a bad one either as all the windows looked like thay had been pulled when it was done. No signs of any serious rust in the critical areas although I could'nt get right under the rails. Interior was ok with ripped drivers seat, good door trims, average center console and from memory small cracks. On the open market I would have expect this car to fetch between 7K to 10K. Anybody know what it sold for? Sulio

Hey straying alittle off the topic but just a thought!...has anybody seen a 2 seater with additioonal seats in the back!? I know it would be near impossible and tight but would that get people scratching their heads!? Sulio
