  1. Yes your right and other members have PM'd me asking the same question. We should have something together by the end of this week. Thanks, Sulio
  2. It would be a good idea to have one or the other. I prefer the State split but it would be a shame to eliminate the global events purely to lose all the previous events info and pics. Sulio
  3. Hi Alan, Thanks for the update. I shall talk to Gav and and other members regarding this move. There are obviously much we can gain fro the affiliation and NDSOC will most likely pick up some members. I will be in touch soon. Sulio
  4. ah touche Gav...I leaned back in my chair thinking of you and knob came to mind ...I need a wooden one to match my wooden wheel. Have we got any info on well priced wooden gear knobs? Sulio
  5. You must be blessed! I remember someone once telling me how dogs get sweaty paws when they get scared or aggressive as a survival mechanism their body has to stop slippage in their case. I've always thought it's probably why some people get them when they get nervious or aggressive. So getting back to your point and just to clarify nor do I when driving to the local shops on Sunday however when it's balls out driving at the upper limit on hairy twisties I know I do and i think many others do get sweety hands. To stop my wooden wheel from slipping I had to buy some gloves, i don't like the look of it but they work, but i must admit if I see a bloke get out of a car wearing driving gloves on the street it can look like a bit of a toss. Sulio

  7. Hi Craig, Good to hear regarding Gordon and Matt. I think Ash's putting final touch's on his car, sounds like it's just about ready now; I'm sure he will chime in. Mayham has also advised his car is ready so we will have that in for the night also. So should be OK re presentable Z's for the night. Should call it the RB Z conversion night! Sulio
  8. Hi Alan, This is not an NDSOC event so unfortunatley I expect the answer would be no. Many of us are NDSOC members including myself and enjoy everything it has to offer, however initialy this site started some years ago just to put more Z enthusiasts in touch. It has grown to more than that and we have looked at becoming an official club however the red tape was just too much. I'm not sure of what we would need to do to be affiliated to NDSOC to the level where we could run events or if it would even be possible. Sulio
  9. hehe - we have'nt met before. Actually, Mayham, should Mayham not be your real name!? What is it so I can update the list re everyones real names. Sulio

  16. It will most likely be that we will all be able to get accomodation at the Butter Factory however to get the lower rate (ie one night only) we will need to book very close to the day. If you are inetersted in sharing at the BUTTER FACTORY apartments then we shall organise some groups as we get very close to final numbers and then people within each group can work out how to proceed with booking their apartment between themselves. We did it this way for the last Phillip Island cruise and it worked well. I shall continue to compile list of interested parties and request everyones e-mail adresses a couple of weeks prior to cruise, all those people will recive e-mail with all relevent maps and full details. Please feel free to PM me or send me an e-mail with your expression of interest (and e-mail address if you use PM) and I shall put you on the list and send you the relevent info at a closer date. Cheers, Sulio sulio_m@hotmail.com.au Mayham I take it you will be coming at this stage so updated list so far below! Current list,(I'll update as we go): 1. Toecutter (Sulio) 2. ZZZ8 (Craig) 3. Dalee (Dale) 4. Matt Freeman 5. Mayham Scoota? Ash? Dimitri? Gordon? Kyle? Lui? Matt Drago?, (by the way whats happened to Matt?), Richard? Evan? Warren? guys guys c'mon chime in, get on the list!!!!? We need to beat the last turn out, it was 12 cars for the Phillip Island run or was it 13? Great fun.
  17. GIO, $175.00 per year for $19,000 agreed value, however thats under a Club Permit so obviously not a daily driver. Sulio
  18. The Nationals should be a sepearte sticky thread in this area. Sulio EDIT: Done, it's a sticky!
  19. Toecutter

    Face off

Looking pretty intense there Mark...could be a wheel add! ;-)
  20. hmmm...14"!? I reckon the original hub caps would look better if you're gonna go with 14" rims. I've always thought it would look pretty cool to get some steelies made up that are as wide as possible ie 8 or 8.5" at the rear with some dish that could take the original hubcaps with nice wide tyres all tucked under a lowered guard. Something different. Sulio
  21. Yer maybe if I have a slow week I'll go to the trouble.
  22. Toecutter

    Exhaust size

Lose alot of bottom end, exessively loud, way too much resonation at 100km/hr or 2500ish rpm depending on gearing. I did'nt have straight through but just a large resonator in the middle so straight through would have been a bigger nightmare. It was crap to drive, sounded too loud to the point it was annoying and resonated like crazy on the freeway. I ended going with 2.25" with hotdog and "turbo flow" muffler. Tough sound with good drivability. Sulio
  23. Is that a 2 seater 280ZX you have there in your avatar? Sulio
  24. Yer the BUTTER FACTORY Apollo Bay was great last year. Very roomy, clean and even had double garage down satirs with plenty of OSP. Looking forward to some more poker this year! Sulio
  25. OK will build up list of interested people from here in as we normally do. Please advise if you would like to come along and all info will be sent closer to the day. Current list,(I'll update as we go): 1. Toecutter (Sulio) 2. ZZZ8 (Craig) 3. Dalee (Dale) 4. Matt Freeman 5. Mayham
