  1. Good tips for cleaning a car that has had mouse droppings and urine in it.
  2. That's the 1, personally I'd have the Topy's and Hubcaps on it if auctioning it.
  3. North American market HLS30 gets $42,000 USD on BAT https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1972-datsun-240z-64/ Same seller has been working on a Safari Gold 240z that I believe will Trump this car "bigly"..
  4. https://www.whichcar.com.au/news/shed-find-falcon-esp-sells-for-111000 Silly for an XD/XE Falcon..
  5. Someone's been getting a long overdue touch up... Can't wait to see the bonnet all done and the fluted inspection flaps installed instead of the bonnet.
  6. 71 year date stamped Topy steel wheels... with original spare tyre still on the 5th wheel. I like how the paint has come off due to the hubcap claws..authentic.. Big thanks and shout out to @PB260Z for collecting them for me too!
  7. Bump, getting ready to move this bonnet on now. Car is getting repainted.. Asking price, still $1000 pretty firm given how hard it is to find a good 1. Reproductions are ok, but you take your chances with fitment. May be able to strip paint off leading edge to make people feel better?
  8. This is why those sites are misleading, first of all they say it's only offered in North American markets for the 280z, but it's simply not true as I've shown in the photos I attached, all these colours were available over here on our market 260z's. I like both Green's but on a 2+2 I think the darker colours work better. If it was a 2 seater I'd go #302 or #303 Emerald Green #240 racing Green will look good on a 2+2.
  9. A friend took this photo back in 2006/7 I think... down in St Kilda along Beaconsfield Parade. Looks like #302 Green.
  10. A friend had 1 in the early 2000s. Looked exactly like the 1 in that article. It was on 5psi of boost. Sounded like a sewing machine and handled like a shopping trolley. I could never quite bring myself to like it. After that he got a CRX which I preferred. I did see what they could do with a bit more boost and it was quite frightening the power it had in a car that had that sort of handling.
  11. Quick buy up all the ET Pulsar Turbo's.. https://drivetribe.com/p/five-future-collectable-cars-from-D2422Y75QvqeOP8sY4SN4Q
  12. Haha, although that muffler is mint. Story could be true.
  13. 260z engine, http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/campbelltown/engine-engine-parts-transmission/260z-engine/1198353874 Price: $500
  14. It's possible they got rolled into the garage again (maybe cleared some space), but they are still trying to grow an Audi on the lawn I really don't have the space though!
  15. It's funny because if that car is genuine 10,000 mile car and never been in a front-end hit, the headlight bucket alignment with the hood is less than perfect. Which makes me feel a bit better about struggling to get mine perfect.
  16. Near me, someone was trying to grow a 928 in their front yard. I was more keen on the Lotus, but 1 day I walked by and suddenly they had both moved.
  17. But are they completely different really? I mean the genesis of the 944 is the 924. I believe it was an Audi project to begin with but was abandoned. The 924 Carrera GT has the wider flares which is what the 944 was styled after. There was also the 924 Carrera GTR which is an amazing car. The problem when people talk of the 924s in general is they think of the basic model only. But the higher spec cars were really special in my humble opinion. If not unobtanium in the case of the GTR. https://www.topgear.com/car-news/classic/you-need-porsche-924-gtr-heres-why#1 But yes I think most people go for the 944s given the fact they aren't really much more expensive.
  18. Phase 4 GTHO Falcon for sale. https://www.news.com.au/technology/innovation/motoring/on-the-road/phase-iv-gtho-falcon-tipped-to-sell-for-3-million-at-auction/news-story/52ddf493a5ca1ce901eabe782dce3300 Reckons $3m...
  19. Personally I can't stand the look of the Abarth systems on an S30Z.
  20. Well I have a NOS rear 1/4 panel (driver side) here in Australia. I have a passenger side in Europe still along with a NOS rear valance section (damaged from storage / rust / pin holes) but would make an excellent template. But need to bring it back over. I do also have a good 1 with #51 that is already off the car and would be another good template. Got a decent roof skin panel that could also be used potentially. It might be a while off yet, but I figure this is a better option than importing a large volume of panels from North America to discover filler or rust hidden under the surface etc..so I am exploring this option.
  21. To be honest I like all the Green colours.
  22. What do you think it would cost locally?
  23. I'm looking to see what can be done about those and potentially rear 1/4 panels and roofs.
