  1. I started a new website for 350z / 370z owners in Australia www.350zclub.net Not many members yet, perhaps you can find some more now that you are an owner and pass on the site .
  2. Updated and put on the homepage. Rest in peace Warren.
  3. Sorry correction member name is "240ZR" name is Nick.
  4. Looks good do you have the Ztherapy SU video as a DVD or VHS?
  5. Bit like this?
  6. Ouch! Look up member "Nixcars" I believe he made similar (but better looking in my opinion) flares for a baby blueish 240z that was featured in Street Magazine a few years back (had an RB30T in it too). If you can't find him I'll take a look later on.

Nice looking 2+2 nice wheels, bathurst globes or Simmons B45's?
  8. Nice work Peter, you should make templates of those rails and sell them to other members. I'd buy a set for my Z as they are a bit banged up from previous owners. Previously you could get them from the states, but that's a pain with shipping and currency conversion. See here: http://www.baddogparts.com/
  9. Yes welcome to the nut house. Unfortunately for your sake I think he's right. The S30 series much like the early Mazda rotaries is going up in value. Your R33 on the other hand is decreasing in value and probably won't start to climb again for another 20 years I'm afraid. The funny thing is about 8 or so years ago when I first got into an S30 people were giving them away. You could still get a 240z for about 2-3k in half good condition. Weird how things change in such a short period of time.
  10. Yeah its more of an American thing, put into very limited production. Lots has been learnt about swapping V8's into Zeds since these were built, its exactly the same concept that Carrol Shelby came up with when he slotted a V8 into an AC roadster. I'd agree you are much better off building your own V8 or buying George's V8 Z since you can't swap a motor that big anymore into an S30 in some states.
  11. I need a door mirror, if its a 240z original 1 I'll buy it off whoever buys the lots since ad says will not separate. I would buy the parts but being overseas its a bit of a pita.
  12. Not S30's.... 1964 Datsun Bluebird 410? http://cgi.ebay.com.au/DATSUN-BLUEBIRD-1600-1964-GREAT-PROJECT-OR-WRECKING_W0QQitemZ280406152026QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Cars?hash=item414982535a&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 Datsun 1000 Coupe http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Datsun-1000-Coupe_W0QQitemZ220490274234QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Cars?hash=item33563e95ba&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 Datsun 240K Coupe http://cgi.ebay.com.au/1973-Datsun-240K-Coupe-Skyline-GTR-Replica-C110_W0QQitemZ320433721593QQcmdZViewItemQQptZAU_Cars?hash=item4a9b5690f9&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14
  13. Not 100% sure but I have a feeling the 3 screw dome top carbs will be the earlier model and the later 4 screw dome tops the later. The problem with stock L24 needles is that you probably have an L26 or L28 in your Z which needs slightly richer needles to compensate for the extra displacement. Are you sure the Needles are worn and not just the seats? From memory the seats are rubber and have a pin hole in them which becomes worn and allows more fuel in. I'd be surprised if the needle is worn out though. Thoughts opinions from others?
  14. Latest events should automatically update onto the homepage now .
  15. Check out Jeremy Clarkson's T-shirt

    rb20 for the z

Hopefully he will be ok with that, otherwise that's 1 expensive boat anchor you just bought yourself.
  17. I was going to say that 4x4ing looks fun, till I saw the last picture which looks not so fun. Welcome to the site all the same. Hope you find it useful.
  18. Archive.org baby! http://web.archive.org/web/20080721214115/http://www.datsport.com/Racer_Brown_Menu.html If that doesn't work for you, let me know
  19. Just as an update Stuart has made a donation to the site and appears to be at least trying to address some concerns. Please feel free to post your own feedback based on your experience.
  20. Alan I wasn't aware that any 240z or 260z was fitted with transmission tunnel carpet from the factory? As far as I was aware they all had vinyl material down the transmission tunnel. Underneath there was a jute material, but no carpet that I'm aware of.

I didn't actually know they produced a SOHC RB20... Leon get an RB30ET from a VL turbo if you want a turbo RB motor. You should be able to get 1 complete for a relatively good price if you shop around. I would politely ask the eBay seller if its ok to cancel your bid, apologise and say you were under the impression it was another RB motor.
  22. Awesome, I was going to attend this year but I couldn't get a business trip to co inside with the event . I'm now heading to Jordan and Syria instead for my time off. I asked a few Auszcar members if anyone planned to go, but nobody responded. Perhaps next year a few of us can go?
  23. Nice, love the colour one of my favorite original colours. Good to see another long term Z owner on here.
  24. Looking for a new car to grace the front page and make it interesting again. Any volunteers? I've got Mr Bond working on an article for his race car, any other volunteers? @Sulio any luck getting those Hybridz cars and details? I'm working on automating the process to make it easier, but for now the easiest way to give me details is via email. Feel free to PM me or send me an email at gavindoolan@gmail.com
  25. How do you mean? Do you want to be able to send email invites for friends to join or have a specific section on the forum for friends? There is a facebook group for Auszcar Andrew (Chicken Hunter) started it I think.
