  1. More cars have been added to the first post with photos and details. By the way does anyone have Graham in WA's contact details? Can you PM me please? http://performanceforums.com/forums/showthread.php?67287865-Z-Build-11ty-billion/page2 I'd like to talk to him and see if I can get photos of the early cars he has and possibly confirm the numbers also.
  2. A couple of people were asking about mounting brackets. I lined it up against my stock grille and I'm almost 100% sure you wouldn't need to make any modifications to fit this grille to a 240z. However with the standard grille still fixed to the car it's a bit hard to confirm beyond all doubt. Either way the way the brackets sit against the car you'd only need to make minor modifications to make it work. Photos are tricky while holding the grille up and trying to use a camera phone.
  3. Set of 5 on eBay now for $550 the set. There is 1 extra so maybe buy it and sell the remaining 4? http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/DATSUN-240-Z-260-ZX-HUB-CAPS-Wheel-Trims-SET-OF-5-14-/252148007751
  4. +1 to what Rudi said I'd like to know also.
  5. 280z 2 seaters are not exactly expensive in the US at the moment, you can still pick them up around $5k in relatively average shape. The cost is in importing them, the fact that they are LHD seems to put the majority of members here off also. Personally it wouldn't bother me all that much.. With a sunroof etc.. it's going to bring the values down. I'd say worth about $12k registered and on the road, compliance done etc.. Value as always is in the bodywork and lack of rust (fingers crossed). The Scarab doesn't really appeal to me personally, I think it possibly would to an enthusiast in the US but it was never a Nissan sanctioned thing, rather an aftermarket company modifying a 240z in the way that Shelby took an AC Cobra and stuffed a V8 under the hood. Ok so I guess it's kind of cool, but still not where my interest really lies with these cars.
  6. Which sort are you after? The earlier 240z style or later 240z style?
  7. Phil (YosemiteZed) is going to share some files with me on Google Drive, let me see what's on there and then get back to you.
  8. That bonnet is dirt cheap...
  9. Here's an official welcome from me Norio, I used to also have a white 2+2. Mine met it's demise unfortunately. I still have the ID plate from it though.
  10. Yeah I saw that, useful off cuts for those needing to repair those sections though.
  11. I've been wanting to do some cooling upgrades and maintenance on my RX-7 along with a coolant flush... Given the heat I'd rather not drive it until I've done these things. Sadly this means I'll be in the Suzuki Jimny, hopefully I can keep up? At least I'll have air con...
  12. Hi Phil, Just sent you a PM, thanks.
  13. G send me a PM when you'll be in Sydney. We can take it from there.
  14. Oh my, nice car and great work.
  15. Discussion on exhaust systems. Seemed topical based on: http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/12239-fujitsubo-legalis-r/
  16. I would buy them and be happy to scan them and put PDFs online for all. If your mate was willing to sell them that is..
  17. I know it's an old listing, but I was desperate to find photos of this car again. I managed to retrieve them . https://picasaweb.google.com/107400787026175995661/HS30103407?authuser=0&authkey=Gv1sRgCNPj4YaDu_-IywE&feat=directlink Such a lovely example, whoever bought it did very well in my opinion.
  18. I would, does it cover HS30-UA (Australian Delivered Part No's?). I would kill for them....
  19. It's a shame we don't know the fate of this car. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/2560-240z-dump-or-restore/ I do wonder what number it is, because of the flat fender mirrors, I wonder at what point Nissan stopped using these and went to door mirrors on AU market cars. Also the White and Blue colour combo is pretty darn rare it would seem. I know Len Brennan's first 240z was this combo, but of all the early cars this seems to be a very rare combo for our market.
  20. I did see it, just forgot to add it to the thread. . I was too busy updating the Early Girl Bingo thread haha.
  21. #236 has been added. Lindsay tells me he doesn't manage the Zshop Facebook page directly, it's done by friends and associates of the business. I've emailed him to try and clarify if it's #33 or #36 in amongst that photo of VIN plates.
  22. Fixed the broken link. It was just pointing to the post with the attachment of that photo. Yes referring to posts by their number is causing me some confusion between the cars and the posts alright also....
  23. I haven't tested it yet, I plan to buy a 12V test bench to test a couple of clocks I have and my 240z radio's but that won't be until I can get to JayCar and see if they have something suitable. Hence I was listing it as untested for now. Let me know what you would like to do?
  24. Oh my what an engine, I can only hope the popularity of the S30z means this motor will be reproduced. That acceleration almost bends space and time. Definitely looks like they are driving around San Francisco / Mountain View area. I've been out that way many times.
  25. Hey Ian, I've fixed that link, added the cars from Curtis (zzzzed owns HS30 01001 now) and yes when I bought #150 I knew that Lachlan had #149. . I had actually seen it on eBay a couple of years before I bought it and thought "geez that's a lot of work" haha. Then a couple of years later I was like "Geez that's original" and bought it.
