  1. Bump this up since I couldn't find http://www.zeddsaver.com/for ages..
  2. For some reason I thought this mob had reproductions of 'original' jute material and the firewall piece. http://www.zeddsaver.com/ But.. remember when ordering from North America their cars are LHD so their firewall piece may vary...
  3. Do you really need a rear 1/4 panel? I'd probably repair the 1 you have. Perhaps share a photo of the damage so we can see how much potential work is there.
  4. Lurch is used to being the villain anyway, I think he actually likes it to be honest. So I'm sure it will be water off a duck's back.
  5. Nobody is expecting him to be, but the point remains we have had these discussions with him before, yet he chooses to ignore the input from others on such topics. Nobody expects him to know everything but the fact that he keeps repeating the same mistakes over and over.. Well it's like if I kept calling "260z's" "240z's" or I kept referring to the S30z as a Toyota 2000GT. At some point people will correct me. They are not the same and fair enough. Daniel chose to get upset about it... If you can show me where I've cut him down brutally I'll pay you the credit you deserve. I simply pointed out that he had got his facts wrong. The feeling is mutual then..
  6. Oh well the whole video has been deleted now, for the best really as the sycophants as the ones who seem to win anyway. Yeah agreed..
  7. Well it looks like comments have been disabled on the YouTube video. It went about how I expected it to go. I got called a fag, cancerous and got told to have sex more often and relax. Such is the level of intolerance for 'the facts' but hey most of the folks commenting on the channel are kids I'm sure..
  8. Quality wheels cost good money, especially if they are in good shape. Gotta get in quick fellas on good parts..
  9. He probably gets a small amount of advertising commission, but his most watched video has 1M views, not really enough to make a living out of. More like a lifestyle subsidy. Probably doesn't cover his time, travel costs etc.. So he does it for the love of it. Maybe he sells a bunch of T-shirts though? Yeah Youtube comments are a free-for-all and I don't know why I bother either at times...It is what it is. I think the commenters don't really get it, they are just seeing it from Daniel's side, not the other side. Kevin (Babalouie) is a stickler for details so I'd be surprised if he doesn't want the facts to be correct. It's a shame if Daniel is taking the feedback the wrong way, I do enjoy seeing the cars on his channel, but his knowledge isn't always up to par. I just wish he would state when he isn't sure about something or rather not mention something unless he is sure it's accurate. I'm sure I'll cop some hate for my comment on his latest video. Best thing to do is not take it personally.
  10. He actually said thanks to me lol.. I feel like a unique snowflake now.
  11. http://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/cto/5520229207.html
  12. Thanks yeah, I already recorded it .
  13. George you have company! http://japanesenostalgiccar.com/forum/forum/garages/mazda-garage/288725-saving-a-rusty-r100 I found this guy as he specialises in restoring stainless trim etc.. I want him to do some hubcap work! .
  14. Don't take my numbers as the gospel, rather that's my observation. The only way to know for sure is to continue collecting data.
  15. Very cool Falcon XC Cobra. I never thought a KE70 Corolla would be worth anything, perhaps that is the next 240k coupe? The drift tax crowd love to abuse them.
  16. All 240z's are worth saving and very rare now. Approx 3000 or so made it here originally. I estimate that 10-20% of all cars have survived. So between 300-600 cars. Many of those survivors haven't been on the road for a long time. Of the survivors how many are original? When you consider the engine swaps, body and interior mods etc.. Then consider 1970 cars and the fact their serial number went up to HS30 00500 (last car to get vented hatch), the early girl bingo thread gives us a sense of what is left and I'm still surprised what is in the process of being discovered and accounted for.. For me personally a true Unicorn car is any car with a number But everyone is different.
  17. I love old Warehouses like this... South Weare Garage New Hampshire - Old Ford Dealer.
  18. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gh3xDCPAEGk Don't know what's been said but yeah... a bit James Bond 60's style this 1.
  19. HS30 00618 to be added. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/1924-cars-for-sale-3rd-party-sites-ebay-carsales-etc/?p=175425
  20. Related threads. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/13189-1971-240z-250gto-project-hs30-00618/ http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/5583-zedbacks-71-240z-rustbucket-resto/
  21. HS30 00618 on eBay. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/281986935659 Starting bid: AU $5,000.00
  22. Not 100% on topic.. .but a few references to used car ad cliches.. "No low ballers - I know what I have."
  23. This guy does funny car reviews. I'm not convinced on the Subaru, this morning while walking the dog though I saw an R31 GTS in red driven by an older man. I thought hmmmm those are getting rare now.. I reckon they might become more sought after soon.
  24. Yeah interesting, I think earlier ones will be more desired also. I also wonder with FD RX-7's if early ones will be desirable. Since right now everyone wants the latest Spirit R and Type RZ, there is a lot of small differences on the earliest FD RX-7's (known as version 1) and so many have been given a hard life by now that finding an early car in original shape and not totally flogged out is very very hard... But I think R32 GTRs and FD RX-7's are almost guaranteed to be classic cars. What I want to know is what is the currently neglected or overlooked car that will suddenly have appeal? The thing with the C110 Skyline's is that for most of the 80s, 90s we didn't have access to the Internet, so a lot of car culture outside of our boarders was ignored. It is the Gen Y generation and the Internet that has put a light on Japanese car culture (for many Gen Y their first cars were old Japanese cars) and look at video games like Gran Turismo, or Speed Hunters website etc.. It's things like that, which are driving the Japanese car culture in my opinion. What shocked me was that this GT500 sold for $137,000 USD recently. http://bringatrailer.com/listing/1967-3/ Which I actually thought was cheap? Since C10 GTRs, PS30's and Mazda Cosmo's are reaching the 250K USD mark... Then you have the Toyota 2000GT at $1M mark... I do wonder if it's all being driven by a demographic shift.
  25. This might help, although the Mitsubishi ones are very rare. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/606-mitsubishi-distributor-for-l-series-engine-electronic/ 240z/260z's had points type distributors. If nobody else can offer a photo I'll try and take 1 of the 1 that came off HS30 00150.
