If only these radios came with a rubbish filter like you describe. Oh and apparently this radio came out of a Green 71 240z that now lives in the UK. Sold about 10 years ago..wonder if it's a car you're familiar with. Guy I got it from said he couldn't remember VIN# sadly.

The 280zx drive very differently to the earlier cars. A lot more plush and soft. Bit more of a barge. Which is good for cross country driving. The earlier cars are more sporty, but a harsher ride. ZX's have finally started to go up, after many years in the wilderness. You did well finding a clean 1. Minimal rust is always best. But as mentioned some stuff is just NLA.

It may be just a car, but I'm afraid BAT and in particular some of the S30Z members on there, tend to have a very US focused view of the marque and there is a massive circle jerk amongst some of them. You do get a few names I know from Facebook groups who are great, but there is a clicky group of individuals on there I don't have a lot of time for. I suspect they are some of the same old usernames and handles from Classiczcars.com who would also refuse to see any other perspective of these cars other than their own. It is just a car, but it's important to establish the facts. Especially at the sums these cars are changing hands for now. For the same reason that an R34 GTR V-spec II Nur and R34 GTR Mspec Nur are different cars that command different money, the differences matter, or in the same way a 1990 R32 GTR Nismo spec car (homologation) is different to a regular R32 GTR. Kind of forgotten about sadly, I had a look on CarSales the other day. Just junk priced for $20-30k. All needing work. I guess some of the more special versions were Japan only cars (twin cam etc..).

Hi Folks, I have 2 X 6 brass stacks to suit a Mikuni side draught carb. I have decided to list them, because I will likely run an original set of alloy stacks at this stage. I'm asking $330 per set of 6. Set 1 has more polish. Set 2 has a more dull finish. Hopefully photos do the talking. Any questions on sizes / dimensions happy to measure them up. Hmm looks like someone was a little rough handed with them, did you ask Les about it? Might be worth a call to see if that's just part of the manufacturing process or if someone was rough at them during the ceramic coating stage?
