Hey guys I'm looking for some pics and measurements of these. I recall seeing a members car at the Nissan concours a few years ago with these fitted, I think it was a stockish mustard 240?

Anyway I'd love some pics and possibly measurement so I could make up some of my own.

Cheers, Gareth.

+1 think it's very rare they are still fitted to a 240z, would love to see them.

I was just after a couple of pics so I can work out what sort of shape they should be. Maybe some LXW measurements.

I sent him a PM asking for pretty much the same thing.

Cheers, Gareth

I'm having trouble picturing what you are after... my brain is turning into $%^ (& over these past few months..

I actually have only seen them on Dalees car at that concours many years ago, so I don't have any pics or anything to size them from. I've done heaps of searching and can't find any info/pics on them.

Yeah I guess they're kinda similar to those, obviously the shape is different.

I sent Dalee a PM so hopefully he can post up some pics of the genuine ones when he gets a chance.

I don't know that there ever were any genuine ones???. These SS guards were generally after-market items available from dealers and speed shops and people fitted them to all sorts of cars back in the '70's, looked a bit nicer than black rubber. They came in different sizes and profiles. No doubt Nissan Datsun dealers fitted them too.
