Cool good to have them on the road isn't it? You forget how fun they are and the attention they grab.

Hi Bryan,

mate your Zed is looking good, congrats. Lately we have the 2+2 boys showing some really outstanding cars and maybe changing some perceptions. I put a 4.11 diff in mine when I found 3.5 was no fun with triples and mild cam-breaking speed limits just to hear the sound of the triples and be on cam ;D

My 2cents, 4.64 is pretty high for street however might be ok for 255 60 15. Thats going to have a big rolling diameter, might look a bit odd but hey, it's your car. Drag car look?

Just a couple of questions for you, what size wheels/tyres are you running on those two pics on you just posted?

cheers, Mike

4.6 is too short for driving on a highway with a standard 5th gear.

Which standard fifth gear?

The 255/60x15's he is proposing, wont be fine, with a 4.6 diff at highway speeds?

Cars with 225/50x15, and standard fifth gear of 0.83 and 4.6 diffs are quite capable of more than double legal highway speeds. From my experience.

A 255/60 tyre will romp it in.

I'm happy with the 4.6 in my car. I'm running 205/60 15's. It's great for normal street driving and Wakefield Park.

But as d3coy suggests, long highway trips would be a bit of a drone.

I also have a 3.9 for highway or long tracks.  :)

as for original steer is fine if u using original pizza cutter wheels and tyres.

but ask any of the guys with 17"x8" with 235 tyres and drive the car daily. it won't be fine.

u be sick of it within a week.

so running bigger wheels and tyres and driving it as a daily u will hate it.

Not really, If the offset is correct you can park them using one hand and i had 245's fitted.

Few years on I find myself still enjoying the car and really haven’t had any issues but I do feel it’s time for upgrades again so I find myself looking and reading up on things again.

to do list

new exhaust to fix leaks .

suspensio  Probably to bc coilovers as the current setup is nothing special.

new front air dam.

heads getting a little noisy so ill adjust the valve clearness or build another one.
