53-681 Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 Anyone talked to Shane in Sale yet? I tried calling him a few times a few weeks ago, no answer. Left a message, but received no callbacks... Then again, I was overseas for the past 2 weeks Quote
saxon Posted July 14, 2011 Posted July 14, 2011 Hi all, For the Airdams on the MSA website, they fall into 2 categories, one for 70-74* and the other for 74-78. http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/CTGY/7AD1 For the 74-78 airdams, the only visible difference I see is there is no hole for the indicators. However, on our Aussy models, it looks like they all have the indicators in the original spot. Does that mean that for a 74 and older 260, I should be purchasing the part for the 70-74*, or are there other differences? Cheers Saxon Quote

Purchase the early type spoiler for your car. Quote
mossy Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Be careful about extra shipping fees if you buy that spoiler, I bought one just a few weeks ago and it was apparently too big for the courier company they use so i was quoted a door to airport service, I then got a call call from the freight forwarding people in Australia saying I had to pay extra fees to release the spoiler , all up about an extra $240, and an expensive lesson. Quote
saxon Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 thanks mossy. Yeah i was quoted to airport also. However I am purchasing a whole bunch of stuff so if i get hit that much it wont be so bad. Thanks for the heads up. Quote
Riceburner Posted December 6, 2011 Posted December 6, 2011 mine done fibresports I ran the same spoiler as this, very happy with the quality and fitment of it. Cars looks good Nav, what sort of wheels are you running? Quote

saxon Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Shane in Sale does one like that. See the first page of this thread. I got one, it's pretty good. Also I think Freddy at topstage might be making one like that, have a chat to him. Cheers, Hamish Quote
zzzzed Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 Wow. I love that lime yellow car. But I am biased Quote

saxon Posted December 27, 2011 Posted December 27, 2011 yeah, with a bit of wrangling I got it in. The bolt holes behind the lights don't line up so I've had to drill new holes there. There's a pic from the front on my build thread. It's rather dark though. I'll take a better photo some time soon. Quote
mossy Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 Mine was far from bolting up too, in the end I bought the same spoiler from MSA and everything pretty much lined up Quote
DreamZproject Posted April 27, 2012 Posted April 27, 2012 So is there any news from AllZparts? I really like the look of their lip, and dont know where else to get one from. The Large Fibreglass Front Air Dam looks ok, but i think it doesn't quite suit what i have in mind. Is there anywhere else that i can get that first airdam? Thanks guys. Quote
Agno Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 Hi All Do any of you guys know anything about this front spoiler Love the look of it Regards Paul It's a Kameari style front lip Quote
d3c0y Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 I can get Kameari and other style front air dams and various aero parts. PM me if you are interested, next shipment will be landing in Oct. Quote
Roberto Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 MSA has released a new air dam called ZG works. Come in CF or fiberglass. What are your thoughts people? Quote
d3c0y Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Doesnt look right without the gnose and the type B flares imo. just kinda looks round and weird Quote
luvemfast Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Yep. Need to see it on a G-nose, since they call it a ZG. Does it need to be longer too? (Making it sit lower) The car pictured is lower than stock, yet has heaps of ground clearance. Quote
d3c0y Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Yeah i agree it's a bit wrong.com This one is how it should be: Quote
stevo_gj Posted December 9, 2012 Author Posted December 9, 2012 Hi Guys! If you have contact information for a place to get them that I haven't already listed (focus is on Australian contacts, we can get just about anything from the US so I have just put the MSA website link instead), please post in this thread and/or PM me and I will update the front page. Thanks! Stephen Quote
BenZed Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Have one of these vented front spoilers from Restored (Japan) in stock now in FRP (black gel coat) for $440. Available from our online store: http://otomoto.com.au/p/8486041/aerodesu-240z-front-spoiler-with-brake-ducts.html Quote
d3c0y Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 These [Restored] parts are very good quality, Ben sold me a Kameari style one with no vents and it's a good fit. Quote
TomC18 Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 I am looking for the ZG style one with the 'Advan' logo, which i think is the Akira one attached about $700 landed ex Japan or similar ex US from JDM If someone has one in Aus i can use for a mould let me know as it will work out at similar or less cost and can then supply here will be much cheaper.
