I was planning to use Umbrella towing that I've seen a few other members using who quoted $950 to deliver from Margate , QLD to Melbourne. His name is Luke 0457 404 719, I found the prices varied quite a lot depending on the service and where the driver was located at the time. Luke operates his own trailer so he is easy to deal with. Its abit risky as vinyl over rust doesn't look too good It's probably worth about that in it's current shape. An early 240z sub-1000 chassis range is becoming very rare, especially RHD. I honestly don't think $1,000 - $2,000 makes a huge difference when buying such a vehicle because it's going to need more than that put into it. The vinyl could be hiding rust, but so could a fresh paint job. It looks like the car is mostly complete which is a huge positive. There not getting any cheaper. Quote

Anyway, be careful. As far as I am aware, there were no 280Zx Turbos sold from Nissan dealerships here in Oz. Good chance the turbo was fitted at some point during it's life and not when the car was first purchased from Nissan here. You may have probs with reg if the car isn't complianced(must have an id tag fitted to the engine bay stating mods) Best of luck. Quote
