Perhaps worth closer to $60k in my humble opinion and judging from the photos. Asking: $46,500. Body No. isn't stated. Engine No. L24-189430 This would put the chassis no. in the range: HS30 - 103569 through to HS30 - 103612 - which is part of the last 20 or so HS30s I have on record. So right at the end of 240z's imported into the country. While it has had a respray at some point in the past, the bulk of the interior is still in original paint and as can be seen is in very good condition (refer wheel well and hatch floor photos) The gentleman I purchased it from (via a broker) was believed to be the second owner and had owned the car for about 27 years. I went and viewed it last week and it was pretty mint. Dash had no cracks, car was super straight. Annoyed at myself for putting my ceiling so low now. I didn't have it in my list of cars and I usually try to diligently record them when they come up for sale. Unless of course I cannot determine chassis # then I am not usually able to record them. This wasn't on my known cars list, looking at others around the same chassis no. they were all auto's. Shame about the sunroof on this 1. It's down Semaphore way so I wonder how close to the beach? Yep, definitely the same car. Has changed hands without much advertising in SA both times. Had the same owner for many years (barn stored, inland) south of Adelaide, before selling in about 2016 to another local, who on sold it after a year or so of ownership (for genuine reasons). There are some areas in need of attention. I currently have cut a section out of the passenger side floor to be replaced but have not had the time to finish this repair. The engine is an rb30 from a Holden VL. This conversion was done professionally before I purchased it. I also have a L28 that is stripped down in pieces to go with the car. I have purchased Skillard door skins, as I gave up in finding good condition original ones. I put a 240Z wood steering wheel on. And purchased an Optima battery in the last 12 months. The car start and does drive, but I believe there is still more work needed to improve the driveability. I'm sure there's things I've may have missed but if you are keen and would like to arrange a viewing. Get in touch and I'll be happy to answer questions. This will be a great project for someone that is dedicated and is handy enough to carry out the remaining restoration. The end result will be amazing. I have no doubt.
