I'm sure we all have an appreciation for well preserved survivors found in barns and garages Hammer...not necessarily hot-rodded Zeds in car sale yards

If that 240 on eBay was here in OZ, I'd be in the drivers seat right at this minute

I never said we didn't.

I was referring to the fact that there are sooo many of them for sale in Japan.  Not surprising realliy considering they sold like hotcakes over there.

That car on eBay is the same colour I sprayed mine (photo)...what turns me off though is the interior red vinyl, same as mine had, I think I'll be customizing my interior somewhat, not to the extreme but to my taste

Zed emblem in photo is just sitting on car, not fixed yet, just there for moral support

That surviver in the States I mentioned a few posts back just sold a half an hour ago...I was watching the bidding for the last minute, it went like this : one minute to go, 9 bids $8,400.......50 secs to go, 10 bids $9,400.......2 secs to go, 11 bids $9,589

Been in storage for half it's life and rust free to boot

Can't be sure Hammer, but I felt over the moon when I found a good shell, it wasn't such a bargain and still needed a bit of repair work to make it tip top

I envy the new owner of that survivor though, the seller must have been hard up for cash, I'd never have sold it

I might be reading this ad wrong, but it seems that there are two cars for sale here.  A silver one in reasonable(ish) nick for $8000 and a stripped red on for $3990.

Yeah, I was confused with it as well.

Two photos of cars and with an $8000 price listed in the description, yet $3990 on the ad.  Hmmm.

"Re-sprayed and rust free body. Bonnet in undercoat. L26 Twin SU, Extractors and Exhaust. Very original. 5 Speed. New Clutch. Interior Mostly original except for sports/racing drivers seat. Recovered dash, new carpets. New Brakes and brake components. Excellent strong motor runs very well, no smoke or leaks. No REG and No RWC. Selling due to needing the space. "

$3000- I know it's not in for $1 million, but... a little honesty goes a long way...

Mechanically not too flash either.
