Administrators gav240z Posted October 15, 2017 Author Administrators Posted October 15, 2017 Looks almost too good to be true? https://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/_/SSE-AD-5026542?WT.seg_4=AutoAlert;PCAA&sdmvc=1&utm_campaign=bau&utm_medium=email&utm_source=transact&utm_content=autoalert&wt.z_driver=Email_SearchAlert?WT.seg_4=AutoAlert $27,500. 2 Seater, original L26 engine, swapped over to manual transmission. I've owned this car for about 13 years, always loved and respected. Recently (April 2017) resprayed original colour, taken back to bare metal, body work, rust work and rust treated. MSD. Headers and exhaust. 16" Simmons 3-piece polished wheels, and all five original alloys included. Swapped out the original Hitachi SU's for a more reliable set (no vapour lock). *Slightly* lowered and stiffened suspension. Radiator overflow added. Lead replacement lubricant drip system installed. New shorter ratio rear diff. New centre console. Sound system (6x9's, but wired for an amp and sub if you want). Original steering wheel included (sun damaged). Dash is cracked. The car has a few tasteful additions/mods, but with minimal work could be back to practically original. It is regularly serviced, runs like a dream. Brakes were recently serviced and it stops like it should. No rust in any bad spots. I love this car, but I rarely get to drive it anymore. Contact me for the full sob story. It really is a beautiful car. taylor and OdinZ 2 Quote

My 911 was advertised for 20mins and I was the 3rd caller. I used my judgement and transferred a deposit then and there over the phone. 260z blues Posted October 16, 2017 Posted October 16, 2017 https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com.au%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F272889688375 Starting bid: $18k AUD. My biggest sacrifice ever, I will be selling my 1971 240z. This car is amazing and it was always my dream to fix this up and travel the country. Unfortunately life is not so straight forward and I won't have this opportunity. I need to sell quickly to finish some work on our house as we are moving next year. It is a 1971 Datsun 240z (the second one sold in Australia) and I am the second owner - Yes that is true I purchased it from the guy who bought it new in 1971. The car has been in a garage since 2007 and has been basically untouched. I replaced the oil, put WD40 into each cylinder and slowly cranked her over. It has an electric fuel pump installed which is not running so no fuel to the engine, however putting fuel in manually it runs great. Like all 240zs it comes with "out of the factory rust" and will require a bit of panel work. She is a fantastic car and I really do not want to part with her but the house won't fix itself. I plan to pull the car out on Friday and clean it up so I will be able to get much better pictures. I will be home on Friday and Saturday if anyone would like to inspect it. I will continue to update this listing through the week with better details. OdinZ 1 Quote

No hatch vents and single handle choke / older style console - also thought autos were later (72?) Quote

Administrators gav240z Posted October 17, 2017 Author Administrators Posted October 17, 2017 I think it's a 71 and the fact it's auto is unique for it's year, as very few were auto in 71. It's also 904 white with the blue interior. Possibly a sister car here? http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/2560-240z-dump-or-restore/ If anyone gets the chassis no. please let me know! Quote
