road rider Posted March 4, 2017 Posted March 4, 2017 Very tidy looking Z. If / when I have the space & time wouldn't mind a V8 powered Z. I wonder what it handles like with that Windsor motor. Looks like a cast iron intake manifold, so the engine wouldn't be light to say the least. Suspension must have been done and you would think the brakes would have been looked at as well. It seems it has all the permits, so it must be street legal. And it is a really neat looking 260Z......a sleeper in fact with that V8 under the hood. I have to admit, going on looks alone it is tempting. Quote

Only things not correct are the 260Z mags, 240K steering wheel(I think) and 260Z horn button. Don't know what's with the sound deadener type foil in the wheel well area. Don't like the way that looks. Either way it should be a good buy for someone wanting a 240Z. Shouldn't last too long me thinks. Quote

Hard to say what is behind the alignment on the paasenger door without looking at the car. The screen rubbers (front & rear) seem to have provision for the chrome mould, so assmimg you clip them in. I find the comments that people claim in their ads are dead set lies, if no expense was spared then the car should be perfect. From I can see there is at least another $15-$20k to make this a very good car. * No expense spared, rebuilt from ground. * Car in pristine brand new condition from interior, exterior and mechanically. richard260 and Paul_S 2 Quote

Marz Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Cheers Jen Jen I have no idea what your on about - get off your high horse - I didn't call him a tool or say anything about the seller. Come back down to earth. Read my post....I never stated that you called him a tool. I rang to offer him a price but it was wayyyyy over my budget then he told me what offers he had ,he even agreed that 35k was a great offer and wanted to sell at that price and I agreed and said that's a great price since no rust but paint work is shotty and few bits and pieces missing. I don't see what your problem is. The offers he had were 33k and 35k and he is happy with 35k - the fact he hasn't sold it for that price I find it a bit weird since the offer was made. So to me its weird - he wanted 35k and got offered 35k which point of weird arnt you getting. You did not say that in your original post, this is what you said ( "spoke to seller he said he had 2 offers @ $33k and $35k ... I suggested he sell it at that price since its a great offer ..but its still for sale I find that a bit weird"). Jen - I don't have to explain the whole conversation but for you ill make an exception(since I feel as though your attacking my character to waste peoples time)- in all honest I wouldn't reply and normally say "shut the fck up if you don't know what your talking about!". don't sit there and think you know all, yes I maybe new to this forum but like you over 25years in the industry, I'm a fairly black and white in these situations I call a spade a spade nothing more or less. That is what i have done Personally I'm very upfront and don't beat around the bush as most people are on this forum (which is great by the way). Anyways I've had my rant some people do know me on here and I've made some great contacts/ long term relationships dealing in the world of 240z's. cheers cheers Cheers Jen Jen I don't have to tell you anything or explain anything to you - the fact that you brought up privacy before and wanting to know everything now has nothing to do with my conversation with the seller . The seller was leading the conversation I agreed with everything he has to say - " I have nothing bad to say about the seller he personally wants to keep it, I said he should keep and restore it properly it would be worth more in the long run but unfortunately other circumstances have risen and take priority." - jen I think you are dyslexic and should read the full sentence rather then just pick out what I wrote which makes you look more retarded. you banging on about privacy well how about you take your own advice --- every here knows you didn't really make much on that bard yard find and your quite pissy about it and I don't really care but if you want to attack a potential buyer well now buyers since many people will read this you building a rod for your own back.
