Administrators gav240z Posted July 28, 2016 Administrators Posted July 28, 2016 Vintage 8-Track FM cassette player. Not sure if this is the same model that was available in S30Z's? http://www.ebay.com/itm/222201202037 Buy it now: US $479.00 HI here you have the absolut rare chance to buy one of the rarest 8 Track Radios, The Player looks like the famuos Hitachi Player but with a small difrence inside the Player with contacts for the Radio Cassette. The Player works well with normal 8 Track cassettes But now you have the choice to use the Radio Cassette, just stick the Radio Cassete in to the Player and than you can listen to FM Stereo from 87 to 108 Mc. The radio also works well, All Knops are present and works smooth. The hole set is in good condition with his patina but could need a professional cleaning and Polish I don't think it's quite the same..photo for comparison. http://www.carbuildindex.com/42285/from-rough-backyard-ragamuffin-to-stunning-show-car-condition-a-datsun-240z-restoration/ Quote

gilltech Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 Could someone please explain or describe the various different rocker cover variants, which ones are seen on which engines, & why some variants are so particularly sought after? Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted August 1, 2016 Administrators Posted August 1, 2016 Could someone please explain or describe the various different rocker cover variants, which ones are seen on which engines, & why some variants are so particularly sought after? Probably best to start a new thread for that. As for why some are more sought after than others? I guess that's subjective. Quote

Starting bid:AU $3,000.00 Item location: QLD. Hi this is a reluctant sale, this kit was purchased for my 260z with future plans to have a turbo l28 with ITB's but due to other commitments the project has been put on hold. what your bidding for: New Extrudabody ITB, all linkages + butterflies working, custom fuel rail. (50mm inlet) (45mm outlet) Series 1 HKS surge tank (VERY RARE in like new condition) has been modified to pair up with the extrudabody ITBS. (see photos) I would also like to request whom ever wins this auction to send me a video of this setup running because I would love to hear how it sounds thanks. Happy Bidding. Quote

andyk_79 Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 @gav240z - 71 stamped Topy wheels in there, or was it 70 you were after ? Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted August 19, 2016 Administrators Posted August 19, 2016 @gav240z - 71 stamped Topy wheels in there, or was it 70 you were after ? 70, and it's not finding them that's hard (well 70 date stamped is), it's the shipping / freight that is the killer... Also doesn't make a lot of sense to ship 1 at a time. Better to buy in bulk. I'm actually thinking I'll get the 4.5j Roadster wheels which are date stamped 68 or similar and re-stamp them - shock horror I know! But I'd also like to get some later ones 5j to widen..love the look... Ponyo240z 1 Quote
