Very nice left hand drive '73 240Z just made 34,500 pound, about $60k AUS at the Goodwood Revival Auction.

Also, I see that ex Australian, ex Classic Throttle Shop, 907 green 240Z currently with Hairpin in the UK made the front cover of Classic and Sports Car with a 6 page article inside. Its the first time I have seen a zed make the front cover, since the early '70s, of a major classic car mag.

Original L24 engine (HLS30 67615), SU carbs, and “Nissan” valve cover. Restored 1980's Carroll Shelby 14 inch mag wheels. Third and current owner after purchase in 1992. Restoration over two years (2005-2007) at 162,256 miles with complete overhaul and rebuild of engine* by C & F Auto (Costa Mesa, CA), complete refinish of body (including new floor pans and original color) by Alliance Collision (Costa Mesa), and new upholstery, interior panels, and headliner by Universal Auto & Marine Upholstery (Costa Mesa). I believe this is a Fairlady Z-S ( as it has a 4 speed box). No interior photos makes it hard to determine if a rally clock, foot rest etc.. exist in the car. I suspect not.

HS30-H (Fairlady 240ZG's) have already exceeded this along with PS30's. You don't want to know what a PS30-SB (Z432-R) changed hands for not long ago. Not quite Toyota 2000GT money but getting there..

HS30 00675 is for sale in the UK after restoration and is asking 6 figures..

Japanese market cars didn't have the 'Datsun' logo stamped into the sill plates (because they were not Datsuns...). They had plain sill plates.

Yes I'd expect it to have an L20A in it, and I can't tell for sure but it looks sans Rally Clock so I am guessing it's a Fairlady Z-S. Price is difficult to say for certain since I think it will appeal to UK, Japan, Australian markets. I know what I think it's worth, just not sure if others see the same value in it.

Rare in that colour also!

Nah, I quite like the big "DATSUN" on the bonnet. Just like I prefer the '240z' rear 1/4 emblems on the early cars vs the Z on the quarter panels. But I'm sure the Z's look appropriate on those Nissan's you own.
