GongZ
Here is a very nice Z432 that was sold in Florida on March 14, 2015 for US$253,000 (currently about AU$346,000). http://www.rmauctions.com/lots/lot.cfm?lot_id=1072399
Administrators gav240z Posted July 24, 2015 Author Administrators Share Posted July 24, 2015 I'm interested to know what price these are selling for as the page only says name your price? Or does that mean they are to be auctioned? I think it's the Japanese version of POA in my opinion. Yeah POA or Price on Application, if you're in the market for one of these I'd suspect you have a rough idea of their worth. The last 432 went to auction for $253,000 USD. http://www.rmauctions.com/lots/lot.cfm?lot_id=1072399 The modified 1 is harder to price and the barn-find will really depend on it's condition and rust, it's history and originality. I do wonder where the proper wheels went though, looks like when it was moved they swapped the wheels. It should have the same wheels as the first green 907 car. They'd have to go for more than $100k easily based on other sales yeah? I love the dark green one the most Yes except maybe the white 1? Who knows what the asking price on that is. Which green 1? There is 2 different ones.

Quite different. locklock
Actually what was the reason they discontinue this engine and put single cam 2.4?
HS30-H
Actually what was the reason they discontinue this engine and put single cam 2.4? They didn't. The 432 and 432-R were sold alongside L20A and L24 engined models. S20-engine was discontinued due to politics (both internal and external), economics and war. locklock
They didn't. The 432 and 432-R were sold alongside L20A and L24 engined models. S20-engine was discontinued due to politics (both internal and external), economics and war. Thanks... the difference between ps30 and hs30 is only the engine? Is there anything else? I read some where back then normal L20 was selling around ¥900k and ps30 ¥1.8m.
HS30-H
Thanks... the difference between ps30 and hs30 is only the engine? Is there anything else? Hundreds of small differences between PS30 and HS30, but they are the things that make the difference...... if you see what I mean. Major component differences - apart from engine, bellhousing, differential, engine crossmember - may appear on paper to seem quite small, but replicating a PS30 or - even more so - a PS30-SB is not just a matter of bolting an S20 engine into an early-ish S30-series Z body. GongZ
The restored white 1973 240Z that I referred to in post #127 (July 21, 2015) reached £25,099.00 (AU$53,567.12) on eBay (UK) with the reserve not being met. This was the US market car that had been converted to RHD and beautifully restored. It also came with a personal recommendation from HS30-H; I've driven this car, an can vouch for it being a really beautiful car. Top notch work. A lovely thing. I hope it goes to a good home. andyk_79
TIRES / WHEELS / BRAKES: Original Slotted Wheels with all good tires Now I admit I don't know Z history particularly well, but the use of the word "original" here seems misplaced ? Possibly to counterbalance the spelling of tyres.........
CroS13
I'm curious In 1971, a 240z cost $3500, and when accounting for inflation, turns into around 20k USD. A pretty good price for a performance car! Today, for that coin, all you would get would be a econo hatchback! So how much did it cost to option up with a S20? or if that wasn't possible, how much more was the PS30 over a base model? Rudi.
Administrators gav240z Posted August 6, 2015 Author Administrators Share Posted August 6, 2015 Not sure where you are getting $20K USD from? I think the Australian new price is about $50,000 in today's money.

Price is POA so you know it's expensive, especially when the shop selling it is called "profit" or maybe it's PRO-FIT? Administrators gav240z Posted August 7, 2015 Author Administrators Share Posted August 7, 2015 Gav, is that 240zg rear spoiler same as BRE rear spoiler? Wrong question. Q. Is the BRE spoiler the same as the 432-R rear spoiler? In which case I'd say yes... in that the BRE spoiler is a copy of the Nissan original designed part as first seen on the 432-R in 1969. .
