Yeah I reckon it would be quite cold, hence the fireplace in the outside area. So it may not be as functional as it is cool looking.

Interior can be changed. Looks really cool, just need to put in hydronic heating.

So anyone want to send in some donations so we can start the Auszcar headquarters? I can imagine 20 bays of rusty Z's all being restored with a beer fridge and community tool racks. :) Maybe even a spray booth.

Let me know when you're moving in Gav and I will make the road trip from out west. I'll also bring the beer and barbeque packs.

Save me a parking place.

David.

Massive amount of work to maintain a property like that....but then again looking at the money they have spent they can probably afford a full time gardener.

The phrase white elephant comes to mind.

nothing is too good for old datsuns. But @gav240z is right, it looks like a place for some rich guy to show off his toys. Not a mancave need tools and hoist etc...

I think that most of us would be having more fun and satisfaction with our grotty sheds and ROD's, rusty old Datsuns.

I love this style of post in this thread, and I really like the thread. Some of the offerings are just sensational (and expensive) - the things that I can only dream of.

72240Z's post shows a newly constructed shed, two project cars with the green car parked right into a corner and a project Zed the most prominent feature. The post has me wondering about what is planned for the fit out of the shed with regards to storage, work benches and fittings, power, lighting and so on.There looks to be plenty of space available but we all know how quickly any available space can be over filled.

Some of the biggest issues facing  car enthusiasts are those of budgets, storage, fit out, lighting, equipment and work space. The pic seems to indicate that there is a good amount of space available here and that there is a lot of development to come.

Really looking forward to hearing more from 72240Z with plans of where you take both the garage and the Zed from this point onwards.

And for those that have already posted details of their personal man caves. please do keep them coming and maybe even consider posting updates of what you have done since you last posted.

Regards

Dave

The other picture is a little misleading. The shed is 30 X 40   9.144 m X 12.192 m, it's filling up fast. I need to move another car and the contents to 2 small buildings and fit it in somewhere.

For now power comes from the yellow extension cord in the picture. The first project will be building some workbenches and storage shelves.

Not so much about the man cave, but the race track next door.

With a few more member donations perhaps we can group buy this thing and take turns to use it? :)

No idea what the asking price is, I'm guessing probably over $2M.
