  1. Hi, I'm after a 240Z exterior door handle. Needs to be in good condition. Not sure if 260Z ones are the same, perhaps they are.
  2. Thanks. Yes it would need some work. I might have a hunt first for another standard 240 pb before modifying it. That way if I don't like the booster setup I have the option to put the twins back on.
  3. So I was swapping over my pedal box in the 240 and I've struck a problem. The one in the car had been modified to suit twin cylinders and I wanted to go back to a single master cylinder. I have gone R33 brakes and so wanted the larger mc and booster. I bought another pedal box and thought it would be a simple swap, but not the case. The steering mount bolts are different. Two bolts instead of four and bolts spaced wider . It also looks longer. I might be able to make it work if I modify the mounts but not sure if it will fit in.. Does someone know what it is and if likely to fit in? Crappy insert has flipped my pic
  4. You're doing better than me. I have no arms or nuts. I'll PM you.
  5. I'm after a pair of wiper arms for a 240. Nuts too. Greg
  6. Topped by Coulthard's effort in the 1998 Belgium grand prix.
  7. Does anyone make fibreglass headlight covers that can be used as fillins and painted?
  8. Great job, very nice
  9. You can disconnect one battery lead and put an and put an amp meter in between. With everything off see if there is current flow which would indicate a drain. If it's a newer unmodified car then more likely to be a stuffed battery. To test battery charge it up and take it somewhere to get it load tested. The only real test for a battery. Battery must be fully charged when it's load tested.
  10. They are nice looking panels. They look new.
  11. Hi, Chasing a pair of door lock clips. Anyone have a pair? I can buy new, but I'm putting my doors together and didn't want to wait some weeks to do them.
  12. I didn't want to go with my stock datsun one because I wanted to go with a stronger uni joint. That tail shaft uni is also a stacked one and so not repairable if the uni breaks. I have a place that can modify my skyline tailshaft, I just need the larger diff flange to bolt it up.
  13. Thanks I did some checking and it looks promising. I didn't realise they might bolt straight. The flange is a good size. I found a pic of a Sti diff that could be suitable Do you know what model Subby would work?
  14. So my 240 is almost a goer. Last real mechanical job is sorting the tail shaft. I have an RB25 in it and I have a Skyline tail shaft, but the diff flange on the tailshaft is too large to fit my R180 diff. Is it possible to by a larger flange that could go on the front of my R180? i.e. R200 bolt pattern? or a large blank undrilled flange? Does anyone have any experience in doing this i.e connecting the RB up to an R180?
  15. Not locally, but they are listed at the Z store in US. $70 USD a pair. http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/40-2719
  16. That looks great. A few mats on the floor and you're good to go.
  17. So i"ve got my radiator sorted I went with the HZ V8 rad that was suggested by @dat2kman It's a brass 'Auto Rad' 618 core. It's a big core and very snug fit between the rails. Only 3 or 4mm clearance. The side bands had to get the bottom trimmed off them and the bottom of them sits on the top of the chassis rails. Very pleased with it. On the RB25 both pipes are on the drivers side. I was going to have the bottom pipe on the passenger side and use an external pipe to cross it back. The guy doing it had a better way and the top pipe has a 90 degree bend inside it to direct the water to the passenger side so it should work similar to if the pipes were on opposite sides. The rad is a bit taller and will sit lower so I got the bottom fitting pointed up. It ended up costing me $700. Close now to getting my engine started up.
  18. They are a very snug fit and need to be clean to slide in. A tap with a soft face hammer should get them in. i suspect yours are now oversize.
  19. Yes a pity two zes got chopped up, but good on him for having a go and sharing it. I'm sure many get something out of watching them.
  20. Best way, but not a foundation for it being the reality. Statistics.........If the status quo remains unchanged, then there's no reason why historical events are not a good indicator for forecasting future ones.
  21. Ok I get it now. I thought it was a tarnished chrome mirror made by raydyot. So my search machine works, I just can't read and consequently spend hours searching for things that only exist in my head. That is a very nice looking mirror. I do like it but am I prepared to pay the $150 for it. Not quite a pretty as the OEM copy, but quite good value. This might be me. Being uneducated on the brand it's all about function and style for me and they don't score well compared to some of the other bullet mirrors. A brand name alone can only keep a reputation going for so long.
