  1. Couldn't you just cut down an existing K&N or some other panel filter? I just changed a filter from a CR-V which is a big larger, however trimming wouldn't be an issue
  2. Anyone in the market for some TOPYs? https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Datsun-240z-Topy-Wheels-260z-Fairlady-X5/163484900240?hash=item2610759b90:g:wHgAAOSwJvVcOxkD:rk:1:pf:1
  3. The new wheels look great.
  4. Thanks for sharing Gordo! Seems like something to put on the bucket list. What were the trophy's for?
  5. I hadn't driven the Z in a couple of months due to waiting for club rego paperwork. It wouldn't kick to life, normally it starts quite easily. Fuel was getting through pump, etc so decided to clean fuel bowls. Surely enough, fuel had dried up and turned to crud. Interestingly enough, one of the bowls still had what looked to be like the original copper (or some sort of metal) float. Started without an issue after a good clean.
  6. Gav, that came up a treat. What paint and colour did you use?
  7. I look forward to this. I will join the next one, i am waiting on my club rego renewal, still 1 month later!
  8. Great progress and love the shed. How did you punch the holes in the storage bin area? Some sort of press? How thick is the metal you have used? cheers
  9. Believed to be original rim and tyre; 1970 240 Dunlop SP sport

Hi PB, good option. We use 1 in the footwell of the passenger seat. I find the music resonates well from there. Easy and full selection of music. I am currently using a Bose unit, however I have used others and they're just as good
  11. Good job, seats came up nice
  12. What's everyone's thoughts on preventing rush on the brake disc hub. Understand you can spray/paint the hub with VHT or alike, I was thinking of just smearing some copper grease that doesn't melt/run onto the rear of the wheel where it makes contact with the hub. Does anyone think this would be dangerous?
  13. I also came across this indicator stalk in a box of spares which is slightly different to the early 240 one. It has the additional 'push' button. Is this a 260 part? What does the push button do?
  14. So, I finally went out to the Feb Yarra valley chrome bumpers meet, almost solely to see KATOKIDS car and it was glorious! Only issue was my left inicator stopped working on the way there. Yesterday, I removed the unit, cleaned and put back on and still couldn't get it to work reliably. I decided to desemble where the contact point at; solder some new points on and slightly stretch the spring. I also regreased certain parts. it worked a treat and now the indicator stalk is changing smoother than it ever had
  15. Hi, I have 15x8s all round. I also have the same thoughts as pb260z

They have also said they will be further developing the texture to get as close as possible to OEM Email vintagedashes@gmail.com for more info (they are based in the states 544 cleveland ave, Albany, California 94710)

  25. Congratulations, lot's of effort then one main site gives recognition and then it's a firestorm. You'll almost be in a position to approach retailers for sponsorship (hare&Forbes, etc)
