  1. Don't feel too down. Just take it one step at a time and in no time you'll only have one rust spot left
  2. NOS 240Z Dash. Current bid is at $5,000 AUD! Things are starting to get serious in Datsun land https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/m443849123
  3. Similar to what PB260Z said, you'll be fine with most stands. If you're really worried, the 2,000 lbs / 900 kg ones will suffice. If it helps, I have the Kincrome 907kg one which is not worth buying RRP for, but I purchased it for less than the price of ones at local autoparts stores because I used to work near their outlet centre and was friends with the staff. You can find ones with a similar design for a lot less that will do the same job.
  4. Definitely a project, but to get into a 2 seater Z these days, it is what it is. https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/adelaide-cbd/cars-vans-utes/1976-datsun-260z-sports-manual-coupe/1257598901

  6. I'm a bit disappointed. They hyped it up so much. I'm not exactly sure what I was expecting though.

  8. NOS Rear Quarter Panel https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/s771061131
  9. What $25k used to get you
  10. He's a nice guy, but he said he won't be doing the work himself. He's looking out for a good panel beater primarily in Sydney (I think) if anyone has recommendations. It's a numbers matching car with original logbooks + service history so he's getting it restored it to factory spec. Should be worth a good amount once complete.
  11. I met the new owner of this car earlier today. If anyone is interested it sold for $15k ( @gav240z - for your database)
  12. This seems like decent buy if anyone is looking for a 2+2 but it does come with the legendary sunroof https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/cairns/cars-vans-utes/1974-datsun-260z-2-2/1256110087

  14. The upper fender rail section looks alright, you'll just need to grind down the weld and a bit of hammer work to straighten out that top edge near the weld. I don't think you'll need to find a new piece for that unless its rusted or beyond repair.
  15. You can still cancel the order from MSA if you haven't paid. Even if you've already paid for KFM, you can get a refund for a part back easily as long as they haven't shipped it yet. Check this: https://www.jdmjunkies.ch/wordpress/2020-01-12/240z-rear-lower-valance-comparison/ (the main diff is the exhaust outlet between MSA and APS and the rear bumper holes are diff between APS and Original) NOS + Z432R shot of rear for comparison.
