  1. I can certainly relate to the "no skills" aspect, and outsourcing as a result. Look forward to seeing this in the flesh at a drive day.
  2. Welcome. What's the opinion on LHD cars in the UK? Australia we seem to put a lower value on them.
  3. That's because your heart is taken by another:
  4. That colour with the vinyl roof makes me think of every granny 20 years ago that drove a 180b!
  5. Faster than the quoted numbers for a z then, although not much in it
  6. Could be 113 green in the shaded lighting, but 113 came late 71 from memory. Potentially is just bad print quality on 907 ?
  7. Wasn't the GTHO the fastest production car in the world at the time? Seem to remember one of the GT Falcons of that era was anyway
  8. That got better and better with every photo. I thought the chrome checkerplate floor was the pinnacle of painful to the eyes....... and then I saw the lining on the boot lid
  9. The main reason I've seen most people fit coilovers is so that wider wheels don't scrub on the spring perches. Be interested to know how many of these they sell on the basis here that the spring perches are unchanged
  10. Welcome. How common is the 2 + 2 in Europe?
  11. Sorry to hear it
  12. I was going to put a spot of solder on the contact points on the switch rocker and file it to match factory shape on mine, but ended up not needing to do anything to the switch. Might be that switch is not holding because the profile on these is so worn ?
  13. Just for info for others who might read this thread, I purchased one of the "ADR compliant" sets off eBay, but they are not actually stamped with a compliance number so they won't pass inspection. I then did as others have suggested and got my local brake shop to make me a set
  14. Mine's still on the car and I'm glad for the rubber flap because I always over estimate the length of the chain and the cap smashes into the flap
  15. Ummmm, am I missing something here? Would suggest that there haven't been any brand new sidedraft Mikunis for cars for a VERY long time
  16. You might find shipping and import duties will be a killer! Last time I went over the threshold for import duties and port charges it added a third again to what I had already paid...... That said it was something not available from an Australian supplier so it was worth it !
  17. This 3d printing/ sand casting method is exactly what Derek over on Hybridz has done to create an L Series twin Cam head. Bare head from memory is about 10k USD
  18. +1 on the MSA ones. Like a lot of z parts there's just not enough scale for an Aussie outfit to carry these and be competitive with offshore. Think I commented in one of those other threads but the shipping is a killer because of the size of the box.
  19. Will pm later but quickly registering my interest in the wheels
  20. Like this? http://japanesenostalgiccar.com/complete-frp-datsun-240z-body/
  21. Great video. God I love Z's ha ha ha
  22. 38000...... Lol. Gotta say that's ambitious for a 2 + 2!
  23. I'm gonna guess something like this that gets towed: http://www.klika.com.au/60-ton-yukon-hydraulic-deisel-log-splitter.html?gclid=Cj0KEQjw76jGBRDm1K-X_LnrmuEBEiQA8RXYZ90W2YO5LLYrfkJslodaR7F-2pFQ1MTS6CcodBrobssaAmBb8P8HAQ
  24. Have done a search and couldn't find anything so hopefully I'm not covering old ground. Does anyone have any tips for freeing up the standard choke cables? Mine require more pressure than I would have thought normal. Are these like old motorbike cables that need lubricating? I was a bite nervous to put stiff choke lubrication into Google - never sure what might come back.......
