    Have to say I'm super impressed with how easily the new interface handles attachments. Gifs and videos are painless. @gav240z you're currently hosting this yourself?. As in, on your own server?

    No trouble. I spent a bit of time playing around with the activity stream, after you mentioned it earlier. A rather powerful feature. I've got an Huawei phone, so the screen recorder is part of its OS. Never used any others to be honest.

    Unread topics setup This is for anyone like myself who is looking to have the unread section operate as it use to. You need to create a custom activity stream.     For those like myself, who don't always have a lot of spare cash, but want to make donations. I highly recommend setting up a regular payment process. Even I don't miss a few dollars a month. I'd only waste it on a Coffee anyway

    Really liking the new format Gav, but I've noticed something odd regarding new content for existing threads. Hope this makes sense, but instead of taking me to the newest ( unread ) content of a thread, I simply end up at the beginning of each thread. Having to navigate manually to the last page. Am I doing something wrong?. Using android mobile. I fully appreciate/understand the time and effort required. Cheers, Rob

    Yea, we know how much you hate 2 pac, Richard.... Lol Hey Cmac, My 2c on this subject would be... If I was looking for a 240z /260z on that budget, I'd concentrate on the body. Look for evidence of rust repair / restoration work, preferably with a quality respray. IMHO mechanical work is often far easier to perform, and often a lot cheaper and less time consuming. Obviously excluding a ground up mechanical rebuild. I say this as someone who has no fabrication / body work skills. But feels comfortable tackling mechanical tasks. Cheers, Rob

    *** Big Smile Reading This *** Yep, well that's why I try and drive mine every day. Yea, sure she's only a 2+2 and I'm only 30k+ in so far, and I'll probably be in 60k+ by the end. Still going to drive it every day. I've owned a number of cars over the years, including a new Zed. But nothing can beat the smell, the sound, the interior view, or the feel of these cars.     I spent far too much time staring, at the now, rusty throttle balance bar supplied with my HS6 conversion kit. Sorry, this is just a rant post, but why supply a mild steel rod with a $1000 conversion kit? The second rod in the picture is a $10 Stainless steel piece I bought of ebay. Which they didn't supply for the chokes.... Annoyed I'll have to remove the carbs, and reset all the linkages. Bloody first world problems.... Lol

    A discussion Gav is having, about original tyres, reminded me of an old Sports Car World magazine I have. It contains a showdown between the Ford XB Coupe and the 260z 2+2. Looking at it this afternoon I discovered this gem. ( See the caption under the picture )

    What where the original speaker mounting positions? . Mine are mounted behind the seats, in the side panels. Of course, I assume the same place the current ones are mounted, otherwise I'd have holes elsewhere. Assuming my interior is original.
