    Interesting, I too am not a fan of Green cars. Back when I was younger (80's) Just every time a mate had a green car it ended up getting written off. So for me - Green is unlucky Sorry Gav

    Hi The Feb/March drive day was the target date (well actually the November one was but hey things happen ) still need to sort out one or two things before I will ready to take it a serious distance. But a very BIG step forward today, and a backwards one for the wallet Cheers PB

    Hi Mate Not sure, but there is one in the half shaft uni joint. Once I replace the uni's will have a better idea, but 3.9 certainly feels about right. Thanks for your help

    Agree completely the early RX-7's are greatly under valued - for now. A nice original S1 or S2 would make a solid and enjoyable investment - Good luck finding one though.

    Hi, I am not in the CBD, the Office is in "The Shire" but I spend most of time all over NSW both Metro & Rural. I do miss some of the attractions of having a CBD office , so could easily be convinced to head into town, or Darling Harbour for a coffee. Cheers PB

    Yeah, but in the early 80's they were everywhere, sort of like late 90's V8's today - they are cheap so fall into the hands of enthusiastic youth and all to often they end getting written off. In time the wheel turns and the tidy ones will appreciate. This is being seen in VB - VH Commodores now.

    In the early posts there was a talk of it being $4,000 to $5,000. Assming the car has not deteriorated you could easiy double or triple that number in todays market. I wonder if the owner is aware of how prices have moved ?

    The purpose of yesterdays lengthy drive was a bit of a shake down to see what else is needed for rego.The car did well, but the to-do list did get a bit longer.

    May seem crazy but I suppose it all comes down to budget and priorities. Some would say having $20,000 or more tied up in project or weekend car is also crazy. To each their own.

    Spotted this parked on the roadside today I know nothing about it other than what was visible 1982 Auto Looked Reasonably good (in a 30Sec look) Rego to Mid March '16 Visible rust arond T-Tops, front screen & 1/4 windows. The owner is looking for offers Whats it worth ??
