For some people OEM parts will always be the preference for their restoration, regardless of cost. I suppose it all comes down to just how "Original" is an Original or Concourse restoration and how much are you willing to spend ? A friend of mine has just spent a serious (read large) pile of money doing a concourse restoration of a Series I E Type Jag. A large amount of the money went on securing Original parts regardless of cost. Oh, to have the money
  20. Great work, I am really enjoying following your progress. When it is all finished you will have a great car and the pride of knowing that you did it yourself. Cheers PB
  21. Wouldn't hold my breath
  22. Gidday Yep that car has been talked about in this thread before. It has been listed on ebay numerous times over the last few months. Why hasn't it sold ? It does look a little rough and maybe the LHD is scaring people off Having not seen it myself am only guessing, is there anyone on here that has been to look at it ?
  23. It is not something that I want, I have other plans. Just curious as to peoples opinion given the recent threads about these wheels. Also is the centre cap correct ?
