Had my 20B roller transported from sydney norther beaches door to door $400 place called leisure transport.

Ok so Jake and I are entering into the regularity at lakeside shortly, I'm entering my 260 with original engine it has been re coed at some point and hardly driven looking from looking inside the engine. My question is, Since I have put triples and a healthy sized cam in it (3500rpm to 7500rpm) should I worry about replacing the stock conrod bolts with some arp bolts? any other simple mods you can suggest to increase its chance of surviving track days. Negative ghost rider! more fluid yes, more pressure no. You can not have one and the other. If you have a smaller master cylinder you push less fluid but can apply more force. larger master cylinder you push more fluid but with less pressure. All this is based on keeping the same brake calipers of course.

Matt has the s2000 seats not jake. We have not had them side by side but they look a little thicker then the s2k seats.

Seriously dude there is this thing called google. Get a big cam set of extractors 2 1/4 exhaust ,Triple 40mm dcoe carbs. Should be good for 120-140 rwhp and make all the right sounds. Done.

Yep, that's what ignition modules do. get hot resistance increases they short out and don't produce any more spark. the 280zx ones are very pricey so probably a good time to upgrade to a petronix or something similar. if it was fuel it would not be so instant you would of noticed a bit of spluttering or lack of power as the bowls drained.

DITTO! Ignition module gets hot stops making spark. cools down and works again.

Top part of thermostat housing is available from Repco for about $12 Housing that bolts to the head is Nissan only. Cheapest I have found was on eBay. Here's Doug

All 260z centre consoles are the same, I bought mine brand new from nissan of cheapasaki on ebay for like $450 shipped.

I put disks on the rear cuz it looks radder! That and to replace my leaking wheel cylinders cost nearly as much as i paid for the entire disk conversion.

Otomoto would probably be your best bet as long as your prepared to wait.

Yeah quite a few people dont have great things to say about topstage stuff, Particularly the flares as i believe one member here had front flares that were different widths left to right and made it look like one wheel was sticking out further then the other one.

Jake (d3c0y) use to wake me up at 6am in our early 20's to put my hands over his trumpets so he could start his car on cold mornings, then sit there revving it to 2500rpm for 10 minutes outside my bedroom window so he could back it out of our driveway to get to work... I hated doing this! Yes you need chokes on a twin carb l26. The problem witht the hitachis is that they have no accelerator pumps so rely heaviily on the extra vacuum the choke butterflys provide to suck the raw fuel out of the bowls. The richer mixture provides no extra engine protection and actually causes harm as it washes the bores with excess fuel and causes more wear. But fuel does not atomize very well when the metal it contacts is cold as it tends to form larger droplets on the port walls which is harder to ignite opposed to well atomised fuel when the engine warms up. Yes still going ahead engine is going in this car. As Jake mentioned its not as simple as just bolting it in and off you go. Many many many many thousands req to make the 20B go. Have to get the custom half shaft adapters and transfer the studs on the rear housing from your r180 to the sti diff then they bolt on talk to d3c0y on here ( same avatar ) he just installed one in his with a 4.4 ratio and mechanical lsd for around the $1200 mark
