  3. You will find that it is pretty congested under the dash Also looking a your photo where the relays are near the strut tower there should be an original cover bracket that goes over the original relays that where there (ie v/regulator,aircon and mounting of the fuselink system),if your regulator was been removed your alternator has probably been upgraded making the reg redundant

  13. Hi The hole in the centre is for a fuel indicator light. the 260 fuel float did not have a low fuel electrical connection therefore no light. the first 280z had that indicator then moved up to the dash console where the air vents are there is a position or the bezel (2 off) L @ R or the other way round not sure. You probably have to make one to blank it out as its for the us market not aus Phil

  17. The red lined knob in the photo that is in the centre looks like the temperature switch for the AC type that is attached to the firewall (not the integrated centre consul type) this switch is generally located on the passanger side footwell underneath the dash. When you investigate the switch it should have a cooper coil and two electrical spade connections.the switch is the hot-cold temperature control so see what AC system is installed in your car. I dont have pics of the firewall type AC but I have seen that knob on a switch attached (passanger side) but i am sure there are people on the forum that might be able to give you some extra info.but its probably in a good location as the driver can easily adjust the thermostat. Cheers
  18. Hi More importantly each State has different conditions and requirements to be able to re-register. If you buy in Vic /Qld does not guarantee registration in NSW when it is on the WOVR and been repaired as it still has o go under the strict process So it is more important to check your own state requirements before purchasing a vehicle that shows up on this register as NSW rules that came in on Feb 2013 has to be complied with to be registered in this state Cheers Phil
  19. Hi Again in NSW once the car is on the written off register the only person that can have repairs done is the owner who has to prove previous ownership (>28 days) before it was put on the register. repair compliance of course is not easy (min 2 pit reviews ) and an authorised repairers report. If the vehicle is from another state and was on the register the certificate of registration will have a notation on it to show that it was a repaired write off and in NSW again has to go under a special registration check by the RMS.if it has to transfer registration to this state This is not easy anymore and for a Zed it is best not be be "written off ' for damage unless it is total structural. So again I agree go and check what are all the new issues with your state transport rules as the game has changed here since Feb 2013 cheers
  20. Hi I think in NSW (other states?) legislation has been brought in that if a car has been " Written Off " its registration is cancelled and cannot be re-registered and there is no more repairable write off category. Cheers Phil
