Hey guys, just chasing some info and i know you're all a great wealth of knowledge. I'm currently trying to find a cheap 4wd, and one of the options i've been looking into is all the repairable write offs on the market. There are currently a few around with really minimal damage (maybe a head light and front fender bent). The question i have is, in this case where it's just a dented panel and a broken light, do you only need to repair the light (eg make the car pass a RWC) or do you need to repair all damage?? Yeah matty pretty good here. Cars are ok, but house has a bit of water damage and we got a power surge that fried a few things, so big insurance claim coming this week.

Yours doesn't need to be lower matty. I get told that all the time with my XT forester, seems to be a trend to lower then, which i think is ridiculous, if you want a lowered forester buy a GT liberty wagon. I personally like a bit of clearence so you don't scrape everything up. Also hope your car is ok after today's cyclone matty.

Yeah one of the girls at L&H electrical wholesalers in Glenvale has a 2+2 that looks ok. I have been looking heaps for a barn find around here and out west around Roma, no luck so far. Even put ads in trading posts out there, got no replies.
