Imagine the next day, asking Premier Denis Napthine “Why don’t you abolish speed and red light cameras NOW?” What would his answer be ? It would be something like: “A, a, a, a, we can’t do that !” “Why not Mr. Napthine, it is proven that it doesn’t work ?” He would have nothing else to say except “Because we would have a massive sudden drop in our revenue” Because that is the bottom line. Governments have become so used to having this revenue that they can’t do without it. They need that revenue so that they can continue wasting it. How much of goes back into making roads and drivers safer ? They will tell you anything to convince you that it saves lives. They will interpret research results to suit themselves and fool the public at the same time. They talk about reduced road tolls but they fail to factor in safety features in cars which have now become standard; Air bags, ABS, Traction Control, Stability Control etc. All these things would have had an impact on the road toll. Have you noticed how many drivers run red lights at intersections where there are no cameras ? Have you noticed how many drivers drive 15kmh or more over the limit when they know they’re not in a speed camera area? Please sign my petition. Please forward the link on to your friends and ask them to forward it further. Even if you don’t agree with me, maybe your friends do. Never mind that it says “100 signatures required” on the website; that nowhere near enough; we need 10s of thousands. Let’s go viral. Not knowing much about these things all I can say is Mick's system is a work of art, the most impressive system I have seen on a zed, i had a good look at it while it was on the hoist, and he was great to deal with. Any guy that will drive 100k with a trailer, pick your car up and get the head gasket replaced and back on the road the next day to save your "Halliday in Tassie" is a good guy to know. I understand your frustration dat2kman, I have been sold a product throught this site that was not nearly the standard i was expecting. The ad stated: ''Fully reconditioned with late model Synchro mod on all gears and a full bearing kit." "The gearbox was rebuilt by [named gearbox rebuilder], the synchro's are all brand new. The rebuild also included ALL new bearings throughout. Every gear has been checked for wear and replaced where necessary, all shafts inspected and only the best parts used. The product was purchased from a regular Auszcar member who seemed trustworthy.. yet once i got it to my mechanic he was amased i purchased it. And after being rebilt again costing me just shy of $500, the seller offered me $50 and that was after several calls after many emails. In the sellers words: "I just made the poor assumption that changing the bellhousing was within my capacity."

I'm about to get one installed for free thanks to shannons, had enough chips to justify a new windscreen. Using O'Brien and have ordered the windscreen with the black border all around, the same as 620Z's it looks nice and neat. they also have the one with the tinted top in stock now if anyone needs one fast. (Brooklyn VIC) I will let you know how well the job is done. Johnboy
