I have been to 3 locksmiths here in Melbourne, and have been told i can't get matching keys all around.. But haven't given up yet. If you find a way I'd be interested in hearing about how/where you get this done. John

Looks Great mate... As for the roadworthy I just put my 240 over at south Oakleigh (as per my mechanics recommendation) and i popped the hood he checked the numbers and all good.. Didn't even look inside or check anything else just admired the car and said trumpets sound great on these.. Good luck with it all. John

Hi All, To start my names John, and I'm a Victorian resident, but I was born and bred a sand gropper.. Well, I've been admiring these babies’s since the early 90's, that’s when I first saw my first Zed, a red 240z in Welshpool WA, and ever since I have had my eye on one. So the good news is I have finally got one in the Garage!! I purchased a 1973, green machine with an L28 and Triple Dellorto carbies and she sounds awesome.. More Info and Pic’s of the car at the link below. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,6764.0.html Also I have found some interesting Info in the Glove box (as it was jammed and looks like it was never opened by the previous owner) the car was used in Time trials and possibly some other sort of racing by one of her former owners Chris A in QLD. So I have driven her home now, from Brisbane to Melbourne and now have to start the work. I am happy the body and engine look good (Knock on wood) On the list are Gearbox, Diff, Fuel Pump, Electrics and the Interior including Fan/Blower Carpets roof and refreshing the vinyl etc etc. But first I will start with enough to get over Vic Roads and licensed here. I like to thank the site and all the members, for the great wealth of information and advice that is posted here, I have been reading and researching for a fair while now and been a silent member for the last few months. Hi all, I have been admiring these cars for many years now and almost had one before the world tour.. (Traveling Holiday) And have finally got some funds at my disposal, so in the market for something in reasonable nick as i am no expert but am willing to spend time and a few years getting it to where i want. I saw this car a week ago and have gone back for a second look and found that it has dropped from 20K to 17.5k..
