What shape/size are the ports on the extractors? I may be displaying my consumate ignorance here, but I have a P90 with 35mm square ports and I'm pretty sure that the ever popular 88 has smaller ports and the almost as popular 79 has round ports. I'm so confused. Just remembering this stuff means I can't remember my phone number now

I would have thought the same thing. I would have thought that the most likely problem in these circumstances would be that you would have trouble NOT locking the brakes rather than having no brakes. that's my understanding of the physics of it anyway. Ie with the same pedal travel you would push more fluid out of the master, thus creating more pressure in the system, thus applying more braking pressure. I suspect that differences in pedal length and/or position on the lever (pedal) where the master cylinder actuating rod is conected, may affect the mechanical advantage of the lever and therefore would require more (or less) leg effort to apply the same pressure to the actuating rod and therefore producing system pressure. I hope I've explained this well. It's preety late for this old man.

Lots of scantily clad people, incuding Connery wearing a mankini I kept waiting for something to happen, other than him kill everyone. I know he was a barbarian who found himself in a perfect world, but he could have evolved a little. I'm a huge Connery fan, but whilst not his worst film (see Medicine man), it is far from his best.

Put a little more oil in the car. Somebody asked earlier about modifying the dip stick, but this too confused me as another 0.5 litre of oil would do it all some good. And before someone pipes up with comments about the crank hitting the extra oil, remember that the sump is a mm or 2 lower. Maygz (having yet another cranky day due to decreases in Karma)
