  1. Thank you Mark. I didn't realise that was your last name.
  2. I've got a bit of ranga (the ginga minge) in mine. Don't know where it comes from, perhaps is the last bit of my Scotish heritige shining through. I'm not scared of the grey; have you seen my head. Thanks for the support guys, only a few days to go. MaygZ
  3. Just a quick reminder that donations will still be gratefully accepted. $5-10 will go a long way. Remember, you donation just might be the one that changes the current test to a more acceptable one .... unless you don't want the change to occur
  4. Peter, your mostache makes me hear 'bom chika wah wah'. Looking very retro porn
  5. I've never had anything to do with a girdle before ( I know Lurch still wears one - He's actually 5'8" and fat until he puts it on ), but the pictured one would do the job pretty well if one were to tap into the bottoms of all the main caps and secure, I reckon. After all, if I am correct, it's job is to reduce lateral movement of the mains and therefore reduce load and vibration by doing so. I do agree that counter sinking the bolts would make the end result more asthetic, but I don't think it would improve performance in any way. I also think that any gasket, other than a thin film of silastic, would reduce the benefit of the plate, as it would reduce the rigidity of the plate. Just my 2.2 cents. MaygZ
  6. Here is an update. Doesn't look like much has changed. As it gets long and scraggy, I've been trimming it up a fair bit. Last night I decided to run the handle bars a bit wider, so we'll see how it goes. Either way it looks rediculous, so it's off soon!! A week and a bit to go, but I hope the money from the many donations lasts longer and achieves more than this excuse for a Mo. MaygZ Remember: Donating is easy. Click the link in the first post and follow the prompts. $5 will suffice and if lots do it it all adds up. Maybe they will get the lood test 100% reliable, so no more ... you know what They don't even buy you dinner first, no flowers and they never call the next day!!
  7. Gilly, thank you. I think all the donations need to go through the website. I suspect that this is to avoid integrity problems further done the track. If it makes you feel any better, I have had no problems with using a credit card on the Movember site. I trust them. See how you go. I would like to avoid making donations on someone's behalf, Peter T might be more flexible on this matter. Still goes to the same cause! MaygZ
  8. Congratulations Scott and Jac. Batting a bit above your average there Scott. Looks like it was a great day. It would have been great to see all those Zeds rolling through sleepy Canberra. What a great community this forum is. Even the wife is impressed how we pitch in and help each other. Karma to all those that helped out. Well done to you all. MaygZ
  9. A very big THANK YOU to all who have donated. It's now getting to the length that is starting to get annoying, but it's worth iot. Does anyone else find that they are constantly touching it? Just not used to it being there, I guess. It is still open for donations. Please don't feel that you have to make a large donation: $5 is welcome and appreciated. For those over 40, don't forget to get tested for prostate cancer. You no longer need to be violated (unless you want to ) as it's now a simple blood test. Stay healthy and happy MaygZ

  11. Not the first man of God to start the revolution!! I'm right behind you Bro'.
  12. If I'm completely honest, I didn't shave for halloween
  13. lachie, i don't know anything about the car, but it looks like a very good start to me. you should be able to get it home for about a grand, maybe even less, so it looks like a viable project to me. Good luck.
  14. Thanks little bro'. I certainly didn't expect you to donate that much. Thank you very much. MaygZ
  15. The site is up and running. A small donation will go a very long way in the battle against prostate cancer and the ever increasing problem of depression.
  16. I'm doing it again. Growing the most ridiculous moustache known to man. It's day 5 and my wife hates it, my daughter wont be seen in public with me - so I'm on track If you would like to sponsor me - and possibly have some input into the style and shape of said moustache - please go to: http://au.movember.com/mospace/1093360/ Regards MaygZ I would like to beat my team mates fund raising
  17. Looking good little bro'. You have been a busy little boy. What's the go with the brass dials in picture 2 of post 2?? What have you sprayed the interior with?
  18. Loganholme is in Queensland, right? Bugger!!
  19. Now you just need scoota to edit/delete his post
  20. Welcome aboard Zac. Enjoy your time here. MaygZ
  21. It is amazing how valuable a 6'7" financial assistant can be
  22. Welcome Tony. I agree that for $12-13K you could buy a pretty nice 2 seater that would need little or nothing for RWC. Then you have a good daily driver that you could slowly personalise to you taste, instead of having it on blocks in the old's garage for years while you chase rust and parts around - and catch the bus to work/school! Enjoy the hunt and good luck. MaygZ
  23. Welcome Jason. gee Simon, you got on the turps (or some flamable lawn cuttings) early yesterday
