    Pistons

Someone on here was advertiseing heas f NOS factory pistons, couple months back!
  3. Nup. She's cancelled, Third time lucky maybe,,,,,
  4. Grab it Seller might even knock a few hunjee off due to rust! If it costs 3-5000 to get it fixed, the station wagons are rising in value, you'll get your money back!
  5. Gav, it was the footage taken by two spectators, one postioned before the turn, and one positioned after, half way down main straight, that really show the benefit of the safety gear. This was pre HANS being mandatory. Bryan Taylor walked away with slight concussion, and bruising.

    E88 Head Info

That head was used on quite a number of different models,, some had injection, some didnt, the milling/machining jigs jst milled the injection notches in, with no concern as to what model body, or, what international or domestic market it was to be used.
  7. What do you mean by playing with rear susp to increase roll centre?
  8. You dont like to think it, but reality is, you can bin a car, but if its built well, you like to think you can walk away from it. You do run over in your mind, just prior to going out, the "what ifs,,," Been in a number of rally cars that have been whacked around much worse, big tree trunks, and steep drops off sides of roads, it is surprising what the human body can take, when you look at the twisted remains. That Z above was a replica, not an original. Look up the pics of the 2012 Group S race at Phillip Island, Bryan Taylors red Porsche, coming onto the front straight.
  9. Nope, back to 4th and accelerate out, more mtive force.in 4th, dont worry about rpm.
  10. Nope, It's us old buggers that race old cars! You young wippersnappers are too bloody quick!
  11. I so wish I didn't have to sell this! Bloody brilliant stuff, And I thought it would be driven gently! Hows the Corvette on exit of T2 at the 12. Minute mark,,,,,, nearly got him!
  12. Is it one of Peter Halls modfied boxes,? or, is first is to the left and down, reverse is to left and up, Second in middle and up, third is in middle and down, fourth is to right and up, fifth to right and down? The selector striker may have bent, and is just fouling on the selector rod forks. This one might be one of Locky's favourites,,,,, another doubled roll pin jobbie!
  13. Sydney Motorsport Park this weekend, in the capable hands of its new owner, Stephen Smith, the car scored a hard fought 3rd Outright. Pleasing to know it's still going strong! Well done!
  14. if you are after one of these, the welder bloke in Pickering st has done a few for me.Just need one of each stick.
  15. I have a spare P90 Turbo cam, if you are after one! Check the height/widths of the port entries into that manifold, i have a stock cast iron L28E mani that came off a P90, i can measure for you. The L20ET turbo heads do have slightly smaller exhaust ports, compared to a P90 exhaust ports. If it is, you could always match the ports to a int/exh gasket ( yes, Got a decent die grinder here, can do that foryou,,,)
  16. Pull it all off and look for an engineers shop that can silver solder it back into place. Ask them to use toothpicks to align the holes up, with the other holes. Vibration causes the ends to fall off. These bars are getting hard to find, Nissan no longer has them. Some US shops may have stock, but it gets a bit pricey!
  17. There are a couple of bits of this, It helps spread the load of the bolts and helps to make a better seal of the gasket, usually installed dry. If using sealant, ( Three Bond is best) no real need for them, but seal both sides of gasket
  18. Pricey! 3 s/h Webers with manifold, and six x welded bosees plus injectors, less than half that! Re the EFI homolgation omment, the FIA only homolgated the EFI setup as used on 280Z/280ZX, only that would be "period correct" Its not a great setup, it needs a lt of internal work to get it running right for competition use.
  19. Brisbane does not exist. There is a border gate. It is kept shut and locked. Tell all your southern mates we are strange in Qld. We talk slow, sit on front porches, drink beer we cant spell, and play really good rugby league. Nothing to see, move on,,,,,,,,,,,,,
  20. Why not consider a regular triple Weber type manifold, get some bosses welded on top at an angle, for injector mounts, to point into backs of intakes, and just use three Weber or similar sidedraft carbs, purely for air control, with a TPS swung off one end. Control the lot with aaftermarket ECU. This has been done by a chapin Sydney, works very well! The injectors on the EFI gear is a long way from the intakes.
  21. Got a complete SR20 DET ( series 2 S14 Blacktop) with full engine loom, ECU, and mated to a five speed Can crate and freight You would need to use existing gearbox crossmember in your car, then, fabricate brackets to mount the stock SR20DET engine mounts, with their insulators, running forward to the stock Z crossmember. Engine is then set back, gives better weight balance, and plenty room for radiators, intercooler, pipework etc. Package as above, incl five speed, $2500 plus freight to you
  22. It's just like moths to a street light.
  23. Sorry Gareth, those bits, and L series Bells are the items I am low on Have a hunt around on some of the drift type forums, or visit some Hi/Po workshops, as these boxes, once blown to smthereens, by aforesaid drift types, just get binned. Bear in mind there are slightdifferences between RB and SR shifter flat mount plates, make sure youget correct to suit your box.
  24. Bigger mainshaft, wider gears, thicker 1-2 selector rod, stronger selectors. Built to handle Nissans newer Turbo engines.
  25. Once you modify the stock 260Z bellhousing, so that the SR/RB box fits into it, Rear mount needs altering, and if you use the RB box, you retain the stock 260Z tailshaft.
