  1. How much money do you want to spend? Are we talking a pair of s/h Hilux calipers only, Or are we talking 6 piston Alcoms, carbon rotors, etc all round. Both are "upgrades" But slightly different on costs!
  2. "Wanted, 240/260Z!" "I have $50,000 maximum to spend" Is what you need to say. You enter the figures.
  3. Four studs on left, four holes on right. Spline count should be 27, not 4.
  4. PM'ed. Transport companies dont like freighting glass, cant guaruntee it wont get broken.
  5. Horsepower figures noted. This car is very very nice! I had the white 240Z i was working on, here, almost sold, at $43,000 This should be at least that! Fwiw, my old blue car, at a 1.5 mm overbore, sucking through a standard ZX throttle body, with that crappy stock injection manifold,,, Pulled 214 hp at the treads,
  6. Pair L&R 280ZX suit 2 seat and 2+2 Headlamp buckets, aka "sugar scoops. These are factory lighteeight moulded plastic units. Also have 7" headlamp mounts/holders, these attach to the guards $80 the lot
  7. Located Brisbane, 260Z Two rear hatch glasses, same in both 240 & 260 A Left and Right door glass A windscreen , laminated. Suit both models All in VGC Sell individual or the lot.
  8. I have two rear hatch glass pieces. Vgc. Transport will require a decent firm frame with plenty of padding, which I can arrange.
  9. Based on work done, and it is fully assembled, and able to be driven, up to $15-17k As is, in parts, $5-7k . Be interesting to know who the "hotshot engine guru" is,,,,,,
  10. Have seen a few " thats a good looking straight shell, couple small bit of rust" cars and shells, costing between $20,000 to $25,000 To be made rust free and right.
  11. Use Redline Lightweight Shockproof. It hangs, it sticks, it stays where it needs to stay, and it is fine on the synchros. Do not use diff oils, or diff oils with friction modifiers. If you want the best gear oil, NEO is an ester base mineral compound, used in proper race cars, including Formula 1, World Rally Championship, and many other circuit race categories.. Totally over the top, unless you are subjecting the gearbox to extremes.
  12. And old Tymotas, and Misterbitchys,,,,
  13. it had a very well built tagged cage, by Norm Singleton, and Bruce Richards when he restored the bdy, did a very thourogh job, having had restored, for Historic racing, another Z ( the yellw ex Kev Gray x Russel Stanforth car) a 1966 Mustang,( now wned by the Qld manager for Shannons insurance) and a cute Appendix J Mini. We only play with the good stuff!
  14. Have a set f horizontals, And some vertical spacer slotted things. Can pack n post.
  15. Start with a 2+2 version, either a 260Z, or a 280Z.
  16. Have 4 only left, They are all internal oiled units, ie no need for a spay bar. If you require later type towers, to suit internal oil feed cams, have these as well.
  17. What did this L24 stroker cost, in total? Another $30,000+ engine?
  18. Easier to drop in an offset ground L28 crank, sure, not the huge HP, but certainly nice and torquey, and way cheaper.
  19. Quantity of (5) standard L6 camshafts, all are original factory spec, this means you can send them off for a fresh regrind! Usually can get 68 to 72 degree "street/track" spec grind out of them. $90 per Rocker arms, brand new, genuine Nissan, along with good condition used rockers. $45/$15 per. Heavy duty valve springs, (110 lb seat pressure) used but still plenty of life! $100 set of 12 Can pack and post all items.
  20. Couple of straight ( run up on a lathe to check runout) 79 mm stroke L28 crankshafts. Good base for offset grinding for bigger stroke, knfe edging etc. $50 each Can package and freight.
  21. Complete Z31 Five speed, Shifts cleanly, no damage, synchros in good condition. Has the bigger gears, thicker mainshaft etc , as per S13/S14 Sylvia SR20 Turbo boxes. Easy conversion to fit it to a L hellhousing Or, leave as is and fit it to a Z31! Can supply it with or without the Z31 bell, or if you'd like me to modify your L bell,, post it to me, and i'll machine and fit it up. Box, as is, $450, plus freight.
  22. 240Z at front,
  23. When I ran it at Winton Long in 2012, I didnt realse I was 0.3 second off the lap record for the big Dato's in Gp S! If i'd have known,,,, You'll romp it in! The Group S mob originally had all the Z's in same category, I was told due to the Group S original model run on rules they had! Thats how I managed to hold, for quite a few years the lap records at the 3 Qld tracks ! That rule recently got changed, now they consider the later Z as a direct comparison to the mre technologically advanced Porker. They also rewrote the Sb category rules to put things that have up to 2000 cc into a 1800-2400 cc, thus moving four cylinder Dato 2000's into higher class. Of course, the pukka Group British boys now have their very capacity class to snigger and giggle about, in the up to 1800cc!
  24. There are three types f these. The flat one, The slightly not flat one, and, The very not flat one that is also wider. Pm'd you
  25. Funnily, or, stupidly,,, You can rock up to any speed event, ( not racing) and as long as your 40 year old belts still have the original AS35 approval sewn on tag, or the antiquated latch has it engraved upon it, and they cant knock you back from competing. Same applies for those early horrid thin black webbing strap type 3 point "racing harness" as sold by many speed shops in the 70's/80's, that also had the Australian Standards number on them, with no date of expiry.
