    I was under the impression if it's a mono body it's a ute but if it's a cab chassis it's a truck. I always call my triton a truck.

    While in neutral, if the sound is louder with the clutch out then it will be your thrust bearing that is knackered. This may contribute to your clutch drag if it is rely bad.

    I doubt it's your gear box mate. Save your self some money and have some one who knows what they are doing look at it first.

    I am with lurch on the hole saw type spot weld drill. Also when they go blunt you may as well throw them away. Where as the drill bit typ spot weld drill you can keep sharpening them. I actually re shaped a standard drill bit in to a spot weld drill bit which is handy for getting some hard to reach spot welds. Because of the extra length

    As dat2k said. It may remove rust in and to reach places, but then cause rust in other areas such as over leaping panels. It will remove the rust preventing sealers and weld through primers that are applied from the factory letting moisture create new rust. If a sand blaster can't get at it then neither can the spray painter.

    There are 8 zed that I know of that compete in sa. And I am sure there are a few I don't know about. But only a few of them are on this forum
