Anytime you look at a project like this as a whole it seems really daunting but when you break it down into 55 small repairs then you can tackle it and still keep your sanity. What's your steel fabrication/ welding skills like, are you willing to learn as well as have the time to complete a project like this and how will you strip the car? It's not the worst shell i've seen but you would have to do a Zed in this condition for the love of it!

Would be great to see some more pictures of the rust, most of these zeds need rust repair anyways so you're in good company here. I like the over riders, does it still have them on the rear too?

My car was stolen 7 years before i owned it on 7/7/1990 and i still think about that fact every now and then when i jump in it. If it feels taited to you then even repaired it would play on your mind hence why most just wash their hands of a stolen/ recovered car.

There is somone on here that does supply the bolts for the front panels but you'll have to dig around for it. The hard ones to get are the bolts near the bonnet that have the shallow head!

Yea if you're patient you will find one but in my opinion that's the best shell i've seen for a while other than the one i reworked for a club member (which is not for sale) what about that damaged blue one?
