Hi Team, Its been a while since I've been on, been crying into my mess of a restoration after extremely bad advice from a specialist mechanic workshop. (I'm very sorry for my Dad, it was supposed to be a restoration present for his retirement which has gone horribly wrong! He has owned the car since new and always wanted it done up) In short I have a car in a million pieces with in a shop, where we can not find all the parts, where work is not being completed on the car and a panel beater that took our money and never finished the work, closed down and didn't keep the car organised. Does anyone know a good panel beater and painter who can assist, knows Z's and is happy to be paid once the work is completed? We hope to have the car at in a rolling state soon. The car is about 65% panel completed. After being ripped off by a few providers, I need some good, trustworthy advice. Its a real shame I didn't see the car come apart, as now I'm trying to put it back together and this is extremely difficult for me. Thanks PS: Hoping there is some helpful advice on the way?

Need some help finding, good RH Door & RH Guard for 72 240Z. Any year that fits fine is good. Don't want to reskin my doors with bad fitting skins from overseas Thanks, Andrew

This is great information. I just need one bonnet brand new and standard. Any more information re/ getting one through Nissan is great as I called them and they said the bonnets are a finished line and stopped being available Oct, 2011 onwards. Anyone bought one after that? Andrew

:)Had similar hole in LH floor of mine. Rare spares in Melbourne have a good replacement, pre fabed piece for the LH side. The metal is slightly thicker also and is easy to use. Good Luck Andrew

Thanks All Not opposed to fibreglass bonnet, as finding hard to source a good one. Limited panels seem to be available from USA and they come in waves. Will try Nissan - Dealer and see whats available from Japan. Yes, I have had no luck with the door skins and guards that are from Taiwan. The skins don't fit well and the guards require a lot of fabrication, might be easier to repair a good guard. Any idea which businesses or private sources sell bonnets? Thanks again for the repsonses, hope to share sme stories about the resto soon with other members Its a major event, but will be worth it to see Dad back in his original Z!

Hi There, Need some help sourcing good bonnet and RH guard and two doors for a 240Z 72 model. The ones I have are rusty and the replacment bonnet I bought (for top dollar) has been damaged and repaired previously. (didn't know at time of buying) Are new bonnets available or anyone know where I could souce a good second hand ones. The doors I have are rusted and need some good second hand ones. Possible need a RH guard. The rest of the car is good. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Z owners, For the last few years, I have been completing father / son project of Dad's original 1972 Lime Green (Tennis Ball) 240Z. Need some help sourcing parts as some of the shops, don't want to part with their stock. Many times, I've been ripped off, but needed the parts. Talk Soon, and will add photio of project soon.
