  2. Silicone, Vasaline? Sounds like she bats for the same side or makes those custom earpieces for people.
  3. Install the cam and then use shims on top of the lash pad to make sure that the "Wipe" is centered. Then measure the overall thickness of the lash pad and shims. The shims need to be the same size as the lash pad ... you can use washers. Measurement is critical.

  5. Hey can you get the code off the side? Try GooglinG it.
  6. I called chris and he said .... "can you call me back in a week and a half" :-\ so i called stewart wilkins and got a set for $144. Dalee has them now with a reground cam.
  7. I've been searching for two hours and can't find anything yet but i have to pick up my Cylinder Head next week and i'll be asking them about shims.
  8. I'm sure someone here knows. I just googled it and http://www.thezstore.com/page/TZS/PROD/10-1151
  9. Best to loosen the sump so you don't stuff the gasket when you put it back on.
  10. Just if i could get a mould off the head that was ported properly i could send/ give it to you and you could use it like a template. . . . . Cue Lurch's post with the popcorn munching MJ. (i did go see him in concert when he was here in 1998.
  11. You've seen my cold air box made out of an RB30 cover, well i'm doing a Version II. Wanna try my old one when im done with it? It will have the backing plate, front cover and a pod filter with it.
  12. Yes he should, i was thinking of making a cast of the ports in the other head... maybe that would help if i could get stock port and do the same Like i'm thinking clay or something. Anyone got some idaes?
  13. Ha, i did the same thing to my polisher cord two weeks ago. Felt like a real amatuer.
  14. WoW ... so what's the plan?
  15. Ohhh ahhhh Japanese Porn ... Me Rikey
  16. Hhahahahaaa Good one. I think best bet is to get a junk head and practice on that. It's an art though and unless you keen and know what your doing. I didn't know but i could tell the difference after, but still i can't wait to get the Proper head on.
  17. I did a similar thing to my N42 head, spent a lot of time (12 hrs) on the extractors too which were a terrible fit. Also i have a fully ported head which is still at the shop. De-shrouding the valve stems is a good start as you can take off a lot of metal there without going anywhere near the water jackets (which is why the other head is still in the shop) if you can wait a week i can get some good pictures of the other head. Just bear in mind that if you hit a water jacket it will cost a bit to fix. Mine cost $150 to get fixed but i bought i like that. Good part was the repair comes with a warranty.
  18. How good is the Rear Spoiler on that thing ...... Not. Was interesting the amount of bits there. Did you get the front spoiler with it?

  20. Ca- Ching!! I think that new widget does the trick and donating member status shows that person wants to see this site running, always. More than just a faceless internet site but real honest good folk. Top Work, i'm going to go do a donation to tip it over 200%.
  21. Waaeell ... someone had to say it
  22. I hate to say it but i would say that 85% of people on this site are manual boys. I bought an Auto off eBay and got it fully and Modified. It Cost me $117 for the transmission (after which another club member told me they threw one out, Lol) $585 for the reco (new bands, clutches, torque convertor ans such) $60 to pick it up I'm afraid that these trans missions are otherwise of little interest to people (i kept mine because it is matching numbers) but after experiencing what these cars can go like with the Auto all done i wouldn't change to manual for Quids. Naturally this only just an opinion.
  23. Here's a video of The Entrance : )
