Hey i did mention this to Lurch-san today about welding masks. I know Rob has one and i've got two but if you have access to one maybe you can bring them along and enjoy the divinity that is Lurch and Rev's skills on a different level

Yea i definitely need to find out more info on those springs before i fit them. I have a modified Auto so i went for the mild Lseries cam which lumps along just nicley at the lights. http://www.crowcams.com.au/search.aspx?EG=58&MK=24&PC=1 -

Yea thats cause i don' have Webers.... i can't tell you how many hours i spent tuning Dellortos. Now i rarely touch them and get excellent fuel economy Better than i ever got with the twin carb setup.

I picked those up direct from the factory. I'm wondering if you mean have Crow changed suppliers cause they make them there and also why would SWM advertise their product "Crow Springs" under the price of what Crow Cams sell them from the factory??? (What does crow springs mean as in crow genuine??) Mine are Genuine Crow Cam Springs, please bear in mind that i'm only using the info i have at hand.

Picked up these parts this week too, brand new seat belts from Hemco ($242) and a set of Crow Cams valve springs to go with the new cylinder head... Just need those Stainless Steel Valves now.

I think that pretty much covers it actually as dale and i were just curious about the cylinder head. It came as a bit of a surprise that the motor in the his parts car was fitted with one, it sounds really strong and i can't wait to fit it and see what it gets along like. Thanks guys.

Well here i am stealing my own (Dalee's) thread again. As dale mentioned the motor in Yellow is shot and in need of oil rings and such so i got onto the parts car that he bought off BenZed and had a go at getting the old girl fired up in my usual fashion... here's the result on You Tube.

At some stage the plates i bought had been painted Black and White so i reordered them also getting larger one for the rear.

Run the motor and disconnect the negative lead and see if it dies.
