  1. Thanks Nat0 - those floors look really good compared to mine PM me and let me know how much your want for them Cheers K
  2. yes - have followed this thread with interest, but the floor rails detailed in the thread are for the earlier model 260z/240z floors aren't they? Am I missing something??
  3. I may be able to save my floors - but to be honest there covered in so much rubber sealant to try and keep out the rust, its difficult to know how bad they are I've also ordered some rails from the US (Baddog) - will see how they fit, but I might be interested in your floors as backup if mine are too far gone cheers K
  4. ok - Rarespares have just informed me that they have no floor pans available - and would need a minimum order of 6 to produce some Nat0 - what condition are the floor pans and rails in off your wrecked 2+2? Anybody else have any ideas?
  5. Thanks Nat0 The car is in the panelshop getting a final touch up and paint, so can't grab a pic at the moment Really though, It's just the front floors and the associated chassis rails We've ordered some rare spares replacement floors - which hopefully we can get to fit, the interesting part will be the chassis rails If we get those rarespares floors to work - i'll come back to you on the wrecked 2+2 option cheers K
  6. Thanks Scoota Couldn't see the pictures of the frame rails on your Facebook page, but understand the issue with the difference in floors better now I noted that you can get bad dog rails from the US that are profiled as well for a 280z that might work I'll replace the floors first with the rear spares panels and see how we go from there
  7. hmmmm - I have a 77, so this might not work What are the alternatives? - has anybody else tried doing with the earlier floor pans??
  8. Just a general query - does anyone know (or has tried to use) the rare spares floor panels in a 2+2 Need to replace the floor panels upto the front seat rail and was hoping these would fit Also - I know the rare spares chassis rails are shorter than a 2+2, so is it worth buying and lengthening them or fabricating from new Thanks Kerry C
  9. Ha Scoota Yes - have been following your build threads and saw the 2+2 - nice I just work a little slower than you - trouble is i'm spending far to much time working in Australia. The good thing about that is I get to see other people's build's, and pick up much needed parts accordingly (thank's to Lurch for the rear strut tower covers - they scrubbed up nicely) - but I just don't get to work on my own car! Looks like we might be picking up a contract in Ballerat in the next few months - so will drop in and see you cheers K
  10. yep - gold wheels were a little too much 1970's for me I know sunroof's are a pet hate for z owners - but for some reason I like it
  11. Can't believe its been almost 2 years since I've posted about this After a ton of work removing rust from the rear including a new slam panel as well as smoothing the rear end - finally feel like i'm on the home stretch. Car is now moving and out of garage - obviously you could argue it still needs a paint job (can't rush these things) Next cab off the rank - It's off to get chassis rails and floors done at the local panel beater
  12. Kia sportage rubber strips were was from 1999 - 2007 from memory.
  13. This is a bit left field - but i've recently purchased door rubbers and rear hatch seal from kia sportage Why? This is a pretty documented rubber replacement option on hybridz - and yes and i can personally vouch that is option really really works well on a z Just my 2 cents worth
  14. 2 + 2 caps are much bigger than the 240z ones - so won't fit
  15. NZ did get the 2 seated. Best place to start looking is the website trademe.co.nz There was a nice white one available recently for around nz$10k - which on current conversion rates is around $A2.50
