  1. Ahh yes, the Sewing circle of Life is now complete. What if i take some pictures of my setup and put them up here. Would that be better?
  2. Sounds like an earth problem under the dash or on the body.
  3. It also makes it easier to search the forum for a topic or subject too. Here's the thread where we discussed setting the timing right. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,2992.15.html
  4. Sure do buddy
  5. We've covered this one before, you need to adjust your oil pump / distributor drive. Grab a manual, pull of the oil pump and set it to factory spec. If you search the forum you'll find all the info here.
  6. I should have at least more than one. Why not go to a suspension place and ask them?
  7. Friend of mine has a spoiler and such business. I can see what he has if you like?

  9. Welcome New Melbourne member. We Mexican gringos (victorians) have a meeting once a year at The Jag Club in Melbourne which is a great venue. We roll in a couple of cars to display and have a chat, pizza, drinks and watch a movie (zed related) check out the link.
  10. Can you confirm this, Rev?
  11. When i first got my 260Z it had the wrong hub on one side. Not sure what it came off but it made the wheel sit in further. Check both sides of the front for fit and see if it's the same.
  12. Couldn't help myself ... i bought them.
  13. Hey my Zeds a daily. triple 45's, cam, exhaust, overbore. Damn boy get another one.
  14. PM replied .... i should get to church more often.
  15. Yes do that and check the size of the pump jets too. You need a get a good transition from idle to main. Too much air and fuel in the idles is meant for track work only but for a good street tune it will always be a compromise. You'll lose areas when you reduce the idle curcuit but with some fiddling you'l get it right. Haven't adjusted mine in 6 months. I can make you some air bleeds and send them to you if you like.
  16. Yea i have one of those electric die grinders that i got from Bunnings. Spent 60 hrs on the cylinder head and extractors and then it blew up, soi took it back and got a new one. Lots of uses, what area do you plan to cut rust from?
  17. Ok it's still a datsun. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/datsun-120y-ca18det-1200-turbo-/270598128903?cmd=ViewItem&pt=AU_Cars&hash=item3f00e7c507
  18. I sure am thinking about it. He's in Warnambool and i've got his number.
  19. Found these plates for sale at a swap meet in Ballarat today. Asking price was $250
  20. The U.S. spec indicators really do look great shining off the street at night.
  21. Just thought i would let you guys know that the Nut Job who's been harrassing me by slashing my tyres (among other things) and who also broke Katie's hand is off for a bit of a holiday... he'll be sentenced next month.
  22. After a week Holiday i turned up back home to find my door skin was in so it's Passenger Side next week.
  23. A while ago i fitted a new Radiator and recently my Zed developed a leak from the heater core which got worse after we took the car for a spin down The Great Ocean Road, when i got the car home the Driver's Side footwell was pretty soaked. Turns out it just needed the hose clamps renewed and tightened. All the parts got a pressure wash and then went back in.
  24. Yea, etch primer has a high Zinc content to stop rust and Epoxy the insides of panels helps too.
  25. I just rolled into my local (Ballarat Central Auto Electrics) car sparky and they made them up on the spot for $5
