Ha going to steal my own thread here, all in a good cause but. Fitting the HPC coated headers back to Dales Red Zed today. Just painting the heat sheild at my place ATM. Enjoy Dale. (PS; would have been nice if you left the keys) :S

Hey i'm back. After a couple of months constructing a Large (7.4 meters by 10 meter) industrial type shed for somone else we're back to get this puppy painted. Searching around town for someone to paint it has proved pointless as we were told next year for project cars. So i'll finish the body work n lay down some primer/ filler at Dales and then we will hire a Booth and i will do the gun work in 2Pac. Stay tuned. Here's a couple of pics of the HPC coated headers that were done a couple of weeks ago.

I had the door off the car yesterday and weighed it bare. Then i thought why can't we start a thread and when you take something off your Zed or know what something weighs you could post here. Bare door weighed 13 Kgs.

The window actually catches where the door lock is and it catches on the bolts that hold the window Guide plate to the window. I am really looking forward to the next drive and or meeting ... it's been too long. -

Ha!! someone finally noticed ... top darts. It's a new phone

Fitted the door today, there is a issue that when you wind up the window it fouls on the inside top support for the skin. Best to bend this out of the road before fitting.

The skins are great but just a little problem with the radius on the bottom rear not folding over quite right. Worst problem is now my Interior light is stuck on :o. Made the removal tool and it worked awesome, epoxy on the inside too. I'll slice a tiny bit out of the radius lip and get it sitting right.
