  1. Hi all, My 260z has recently begun to form small, unwelcome puddles of coolant in driver foot well. Anyway I tracked the leak to this vacuum operated heater tap thing. If anyone has one which they are willing to sell that would be very much appreciated. Thanks. Brad
  2. Hey guys, I'm looking to replace my steel wheels with the original alloys. Unfortunately I only have 15 wheel nuts so if anybody has one spare or knows where I can get one new that would be great. Thanks Brad
  3. It's almost time to swap out the old auto for a 5-speed and the flywheel I have at the moment has a lot of cracks on the surface. I was wondering if anyone had one they are wanting to sell, preferably in Melbourne. Thanks Brad.
  4. bumper, grill and fuel cap have been sold.
  5. Hi Matt, Here are some pics that might help. I was thinking $50.00 per door. I"m at Aspendale Gardens 3195.

  8. Hi, Does anyone know a place in Melbournes south east suburbs that carry out z car repairs? Could go to the local mechanic shop but would prefer a z car specialist. Cheers.
  9. Hi, how common is it for 260z original carbs to run rich due to age? The reason I ask is my 260z starts easy with no choke. The plugs are black with carbon. I thought the car was going ok but have noticed that once the revs build up and you put your foot down there is a misfire and poor performance. Could it be running to rich due to worn carbs? Would this be a common problem? Cheers.
  10. Shaun am looking for a L26 engine can you phone me 0432227466. Thanks peter
  11. Hi, can anyone help me with fuel pump information for a 260z. There seems to be an electric fuel pump in the tank, i can hear it when the ignition is on. There also seems to be a fuel pump attached to the block. So that makes two?? Regards
  12. Hi Guys just an update to my overheating and coolant loss on my 260Z. In the end it turned out to be the new thermostat I installed and yes it was a tridon brand. What a load of crap they are!!!! Cheers.
  13. Hi everyone, was wanting to know if anyone has had similar problem with their 260z. After about 3k's down the road temp gauge is nearly full scale hot. Get it back home wait for it to cool check water and find the level low, takes about 3 litres to refill. This is after I had the radiator rebuilt (was blocked) and a new thermostat. Radiator pressure test finds no leaks in the system, holds pressure ok. Engine runs fine, compression test shows cylinders good 150,155 PSI. About the only thing left is water pump? Any thoughts. Regards Peter.
